#monoprice tablet

Hey guys! As you may or may not know recently, my computer broke, forcing me to upgrade to a new one. My current tablet doesn’t work with my new computer, though. I’m currently willing to sell it for $30 including shipping and it comes with an extra tablet pen. It’s slightly used but mostly only has some scraped off paint on the back.

It only works on Macs up to OSX 10.7.5, unfortunately (Yosemite) but I haven’t heard of any problems with windows as of yet. So if you’re running an old Mac OS or a windows computer, this might be for you! I’ve always considered Monoprice to be affordable and easy to use, and this tablet has served me well while I’ve used it.

I sent in an Ask sometime earlier about #pen sensitivity and got it figured out! One to add to the troubleshooting: Uninstall ALL drivers you have for tablets, restart, reinstall. This works if you have, in my case, a Monoprice tablet and an Adesso installed. Uninstalled the Monoprice, the Adesso, restarted, reinstalled only the Adesso, restarted one more time, and now it's working! \o/

Okay Krita users, I need help with a technical issue that has me almost crying with frustration.

I have a Monoprice 6x10 tablet which seems to work fine in Photoshop but gives me grief in Krita. I do all my linework in Krita because I love the curvy brush and the stabiliser. For some reason, completely at random, I’ll open up Krita and try to line a sketch. The brush cursor will freeze for a second, and jump to draw a straight line, and THEN proceed draw in whatever direction I’m going in.

I’ve reinstalled both Krita and my tablet multiple times. Sometimes that fixes it. Sometimes it doesn’t. I haven’t touched the brush settings, or any settings, at all, so I don’t understand why this is random.

If I’m overlooking something, or if there’s a fix, please let me know. I’m still learning Krita so if I’m just being dumb that’s fine, I just want the issue to be resolved.

Hello,

Can anyone please help me? I am trying to open the PLaunch for my MonoPrice 10x6.25 tablet. I disabled all the drivers and did the progams and features (apps and features on my windows 10 computer) to remove my older bamboo tablet. Even then, it will not open so I can edit my pen pressure. Can someone help me? Please and thank you.

Has anyone else with a Monoprice tablet had this problem?

tl;dr version: PLaunch.EXE won’t run on my Windows 10 computer

I’m installing my new Monoprice tablet on Windows 10, and the installation process seemed to be running smoothly until I needed to configure my pen settings. At first the program I needed didn’t appear in the taskbar like the instruction book said it would because Microsoft wanted me to use their tablet manager (Windows Ink Workspace) instead. This wasn’t much of an issue, I found the file location of the program using the instruction booklet.

But now that I found PLaunch, it won’t open. I’ve tried running it as a normal user with no result. When I tried running it as administrator, all that happened was I got it’s normal message asking if I’m fine with it making changes to my computer. I’ve reinstalled the CD driver, uninstalled my old tablet’s driver, and tried unplugging the tablet and moving the USB cord to another outlet, but that didn’t seem to help.

Is there anything else I should try doing? I heard that I could get another driver for Windows 10 online from the company that handles the programming (UC Logic I guess), but I’m not sure if that’s necessary. I found out how to view the driver in the Device Manager and it says it’s working fine and has the most recent/compatible updates it could find. I also heard that it might be because there’s something wrong with the hardware (specificallythe cord), but I’d rather not have to send it back and get a new one.

Researching monoprice tablets before buying one: good tablet!! Amazing!! The drivers take a little hunting down but once u get it right it’s just like a wacom!!

Researching monoprice tablets once u own one: “help my tablet works really well I love it but it occasionally draws dicks on its own??” “Yeah that’s windows trying to sabotage it, try uninstalling every driver on your system and then unplugging and replugging it rapidly while your system is rebooting, then reinstall the tablet driver. Unless you have this specific model, in which case just try installing the driver from this other company. Even then, never let windows install another driver ever again”
