Grim and Mono are at their house, Mono is cooking while Grim is laying on the couch covered in blankets.
Horror ports just outside the door to their house and walks in, kicking his shoes off at the entrance.
"Hey!" Mono yelled from the kitchen.
"heya." Horror says, shuffling in from the entryway. His cheeks dusting lightly with a blush at seeing the two.
"Hey . . . " Grim is covered with blankets.
Horror makes his way over to Grim and hugs him, nuzzling his cheek. "feelin ok?" He's blushing in full effect now.
'Yeah, Just Feeling Cold . . . Like Always" Grim snuggles a bit into him.
Horror melted in to the snuggles, purring loudly savoring it for a moment before asking "would you like some tea to warm ya up?" but he's already halfway standing up to go get Grim tea.
"Stay" Grim's smiling.
Horror's face lights up and his eyelight widens. "uh- um, o-ok." Soul hammering in his chest, he peaks over the top of the couch to check and make sure that Mono's ok and cuddles up to Grim.
Mono's okay, they are making food. Grim is small compared to Horror.
Horror collapses over Grim engulfing his tiny frame, being careful not to crush him, and purring loudly.
Grim giggles, He's purring too, "Just Don't Fall Asleep On Me"
Horror's face colors even more as he nuzzles into Grim "no promises" He chuckles, his voice slightly muffled.
"Hehe"
Mono is looking at them with a smile, "Food should be ready soon"
"and it smells amazing" Horror sighs, he squeezed Grim gently, closing his eyes.
"Heh, I hope pizza is okay with you guys"
Horror's stomach grumbled in anticipation. "pizza's grate!" Horror chuckles "sorry nevermind that puns too cheesy."
Both Skeletons snickered at the puns.
Horror felt so happy... His soul swelled and he trembled a little. He was starting to feel a little overwhelmed.
"Are You Okay?"
Horror nodded into Grim's shoulder, purring even louder.
"Okay, I'll call you when the pizza's ready" Mono went into the kitchen.
"thank you" Horror called after Mono "olive you so much."
A laugh could be heard "I love you too!"
Horror was starting to get too comfortable, his eyelids feeling heavy.
Not wanting to crush Grim with his full weight, he slipped himself in between Grim and the couch and hugged him close, checking to make sure he was still wrapped in the blankets.
He really did feel cold but Horror didn't mind.
Grim is purring, it's kinda weird that even with this many layers of clothes and a few blankets he's still cold.
Horror keeps shifting and covering anyplace cold on Grim chasing the chill away. "why are you freezing?" He asks, concern in his voice.
"Just A Thing That Happens To Me, I Don't Know Why, But It's Better Now" Grim smiled at him.
Horror smiled, nuzzling Grim.
"Ready!"
Horror perked up immediately.
He carefully clambered over Grim and stood up stretching with a groan before turning back to Grim and picking him up bridal style, blanket and all.
Grim smiled at him, He's blushing, a soft red on his black cheekbones.
Horror nuzzles Grim and adjusts him to make sure not to drop him and takes him to the kitchen table, hugging him slightly before placing him in his usual seat.
The pizza is on the table, already cut into slices, there are some sauces too, Mono placed cups with tea on the table and sat down on their seat.
Horror's practically drooling at the sight.
He gives Mono a quick hug and a light kiss on their cheek and made his way to his seat. "it smells so good."
"Well I hope that you'll enjoy it" Mono took a slice for themselves.
He picks up a slice enthusiastically, taking a comically huge bite out of it.
Grim took a smaller slice and took a small bite out of it.
"Tastes good?"
Horror nodded happily, his mouth full. He finished his slice in three bites and snagged another, digging into this one a bit slower.
They are eating in peace.
Grim checked his phone, a bit of worry present on his face.
Horror pauses his imitation of a pizza disposal service, watching Grim with concern.
"We know, but . . . We're worried about a possibility that His brother killed him . . . And sent this message so we won't know . . . atleast not immediately . . ." Mono looks worried.
"When We Went There, There Was A Lot Of Blood . . . ." Grim looks uncomfortable with remembering the blood.
"his brother would do something like that?" Horror looks slightly horrified.
"Yeah, revenge and stuff" Mono took a sip from their tea.
Horror falls silent, looking perturbed.
"But I suppose he's okay, he's always okay"
"yeah..." Horror finishes the slice he had in one bite and decides leftovers need to be taken care of. "you guys done with pizza?"
"yeah" Grim like always ate too little.
Horror gathers the plates and stops at Grim's "one more bite?"
If skeletons could make puppy dog eyes it would look like the look Horror gives Grim.
Grim sighs "Okay . . . "
Horror waits happily for Grim to take his bite and jams the rest of his pizza in his mouth and takes off with his plate.
After the pizza, Grim drank his tea.
Horror was quick to take care of dishes and what little leftovers he spared.
After drying off his hands, he stopped in between the kitchen and dining room fidgeting with his hands and staring at Mono a light blush on his face.
"Hm?" Mono looked at him.
Horror shuffles over to Mono and leans on him in a weird sort of half hug. "thank you. that was delicious."
"I'm happy that you liked it" They smile at him.
Horror blushes "Wanna watch somethin' and cuddle on the couch?"
Grim stood up, wrapped himself in a blanket and went back to the couch.
"Yeah" Mono looks at Horror, "You look cute when you blush"
"w-well you look cute." Horror's face lights up even more. He decides it's Mono's turn to be carried and picks him up, nuzzling him and following Grim.
Mono is holding onto him to not fall, they gave Horror a small kiss on the cheek.
Horror blushed furiously when Mono kissed him, he's starting to feel like a walking gyftmas light around these two.
Grim is already laying on the couch, he's a bit curled up so Mono and Horror can sit beside him.
Horror plopped on the couch next to Grim, keeping Mono in his lap. He snuggled up to his two bf's, a loud rumbling purr emanating from him.
Grim leaned on Horror, he closed his eyes, probably ready to have a nap.
"So what are we watching?" Mono looked at him, sitting comfortably in his lap.
Horror looked to Grim and then Mono. "rom-com?"
"Sure"
Horror magic'd the remote over and put on some hallmark movie. He nuzzled Mono and Grim and let his body become one with the couch.
Soon soft snoring could be heard from Grim. Mono looks a bit worried.
Horror nudges Mono giving a questioning nod with one bony eyebrow raised in Grim's direction.
Mono sighs softly "He sleeps a lot lately . . . I'm just worried about him . . ."
Horror looks at Grim sleeping, concern written all over his face. He places a hand on his skull petting gently. Horror looks to Mono "has he been eating ok when i'm gone?"
"Not really . . ."
Horror frowns his brow furrowed. He's gone really still and he's focusing on Grim sleeping.. Just staring. The hand that was petting Grim starts tugging on his eye socket and the arm holding onto Mono grips him tight.
"Horror?"
" . . . " Horror's trembling slightly.
Mono placed their hand on his cheek, "Hey, what's wrong?" They're looking at his eyesockets.
Horror slowly looks at Mono, his eyelight looks shakey and unfocused, like he's not entirely present.
"Horror, please calm down, it's not your fault" Mono is slowly stroking his cheek.
Horror's trembling softens a little and his hand detracts from his eye socket, moving to clutch at his jacket right over where his soul would be.
His eyelight somewhat focuses on Mono, and an expression of confusion flits across his face.
Mono smiles a bit at him, "everything is okay, we are okay" mostly.
Horror looks down at his hand bunched up in his jacket and glances to Grim before returning his gaze to Mono. He's trembling again but looking significantly more present. "m-mono?"
"Hm?"
Horror wraps both his arms around Mono and attempts to hide his face in their shoulder, he squeezes his eyes shut and a singular tear rolls down his cheekbone.
"Shhh . . ." They try to calm him down, they are slowly stroking his back.
His trembling stopped completely but he doesn't let go of Mono. Horror takes a stuttering breath and mumbles "m'ok."
"Are you sure?" They're worried about both of them.
Horror lifts his head, nodding. "m'better" He looks to the sleeping Grim and puts a gentle arm back around him.
"i just- i've seen so many monsters..." He looks back at Mono and quickly avoids eye contact "sorry.. kinda lost myself there." He mumbles.
"I understand, I'm worried about him too, I know that it's even harder for you"
Horror doesn't look to happy about that "no it's not... it's just different." He gives Mono a comforting squeeze, looking at him with a clearly forced smile.
Mono frowned a bit. Horror's face falls, a little sweat beading on his forehead.
Mono hugs him, they don't say anything, they just look at Grim.
Horror sinks into the hug and closes his eyes. He's feeling rather tired himself now.
"Nap?"
Horror makes a noise of agreement "a nap sounds nice."
"Are we staying here or are we going to lay down on bed?"
Horror looks to Grim. "dunno, think we can move him without waking him up?"
"We can"
"bed then." Horror nods.
Mono let go of him and got out from his lap, they are floating in the air like always.
Horror shifts carefully from under Grim and gently picks him. He has a currently strong hate for how light he feels.
Grim didn't wake up, but he did snuggle close to Horror.
Horror's soul twists in his chest. He feels a surge of protectiveness wash over him. He looked to Mono to lead the way.
Mono went upstairs and opened one of the doors.
Horror followed him in clutching Grim like he's a lifeline. He one handedly flips the covers over and makes sure Grim is comfortable before clambering in after him, waiting for Mono before getting comfortable himself.
Mono laid down on the bed, they looked at Horror.
Horror pulled the covers over the three of them. His face lit up as he snuggled in, his arms just long enough to reach over Grim and hold onto Mono as well.
Mono smiled, they slightly rubbed their damaged eyesocket.
Horror smiled back, blushing. His bfs were so cute. "olive you." He repeats the pun from earlier.
Mono chuckles quietly "We love you too"
Grim is mumbling something in his sleep quietly.
Horror's soul trembled. He's feels loved and safe and he's not sure what he did to deserve these two.
He doesn't know what to say so he gives the both of them a light squeeze and closes his eyes drifting off to sleep.
