A very interesting article...Montessori classrooms are well-known for being minimalist - with walls and shelves holding only essentials ...almost austere, some would say. The rationale: inviting the child’s soft fascination for what they see. The less clutter, the more intentional the engagement; the more intentional the engagement, the deeper the learning!
