3. Do they have piercings, tattoos, or notable scars? Do they dye their hair, or is it a gene mod?

No piercings, but she’s got a bunch of tattoos. I would’ve given her scars if the scars in the CC weren’t so shitty looking, so no not really I guess. Her hair is naturally dark brown/black and she keeps it like that.

6. Canon says they served in the Alliance before joining the Initiative, do you keep this canon, or have you made some changes? Explain their backstory either way.

Um, the backstory for Sis!Ryder is that they dug up Prothean ruins isn’t it? I didn’t really deviate from that with Monroe. She’s super research oriented.

12. Explain the way they feel about their squadmates, both initially and over the course of the story.

Liam: She trusted him because her father did, enough to put him on the pathfinder team. And that trust grew easily into friendship

Cora: Same goes for Liam in the beginning. But She’s never able to shake that awkward feeling that Cora resents her for becoming Pathfinder. They’re on good terms but not what you’d call close. More colleagues than friends.

Vetra: from “oh no she’s cute” to “what has more mass a black hole or my love for my spiky girlfriend”

Drack: from “okay cool we’ve got a krogan on board he’ll be helpful in a tough fight” to “I would do anything for my new grandpa”

Peebee: Honestly wasn’t sure what to think of Peebee at first. Slow and steady though as Peebee let down her walls, they became nearly inseparable. They bonded a lot over the remnant tech.

Jaal: She didn’t know what to think of Jaal at first either. She enjoyed learning about his culture and allowing him to learn about her and the other milky way species, and then all at once sometime after they saved the Moshae she couldn’t imagine him not being there on the tempest with them. They’re super close.

Suvi: They were instant best friends honestly??? Two gay science nerds. Type of friends who stay up into the wee hours of the morning asking deep & abstract existential questions.

Kallo: How could they not be friends with Monroe hanging out on the bridge all the time. I headcanon him teaching her a bit about piloting.

Gil: Thick as thieves. But she uses SAM to cheat at poker games with him to humble him a bit, no one can tell me that she didn’t convince him to tell Jill to back the fuck off.

Honestly Monroe is just really warm and affectionate with her whole crew. She was in need of a surrogate family after what happened/was happening to hers and her crew filled that role.
