Shine Forever (Hyungwon)
You flicked your wrist up to check for the time. It was exactly 2pm and you were standing outside Hyungwon’s dorm. You knocked on the door a couple of times just for formality and was shocked to see Minhyuk, wearing a bright smile, inviting you in.
“He isn’t waking up. Can you do something about it?”
You nodded. It was a pain in the ass to wake him up. You could hire a marching band with those big ass instruments to play a song and he wouldn’t wake up.
And so you strolled up to his room, opened the door with a loud, bang! Your footsteps thudded against the hardwood on the ground as you hopped onto the bed. Placing many quick pecks around his face and neck, you see him stir.
“Mhmm.”
“You like that?”
“Mhmm.”
“Want more?”
“Mhmm.”
“Then you gotta wake up.”
It didn’t take him long to wake up, considering his speed on another normal day. Once he was up, you placed a few (more like a thousand) pecks around his face before snuggling into him.
“Wake up earlier next time, would you?”
“Sure. As long as you’re here.”
You smiled. Before you could do anything else, Hyungwon said,“I’m not satisfied with just once. Smile for me again just like that.”
You could swear he was hanging out with Hoseok recently. He was starting to get more cocky…
But you smiled anyway.
He tucked a strand of loose hair behind your ear and pulled you in for a kiss.
“ I love you baby.”
“I love you too.”
Unknowingly, you ended up hugging him for a pretty long time. His warm embrace, his brown locks and especially his pouty lips made you want to stay nestled with him like that. But you had gone to his dorm for an entirely different reason. You wanted to enjoy some brunch with him. Well, lunch now that he was finally awake at 2.15 pm in the afternoon. So you grabbed him by the wrist, lugging him out the room and finally, the dorm. You had decided that Hyungwon was going to eat the food you wanted as a ‘punishment’ for waking up late. Minutes later, you were seated in your favourite sushi bar. The mouthwatering variations of sushi on the conveyer belt made your stomach growl. You pick some sushi off the belt. Coincidentally, it was Hyungwon’s favourite. “Hyungwon?” Catching your eye, he opens his mouth. What he didn’t know however, was that the sushi was laced with wasabi. As he spluttered, your laugh resounded throughout the sushi bar. He grabbed some hot green tea from the side, hoping that it’d help him relieve the pain. “Hyungwon are you alright?” “Does it look like I’m alright?” “I’ll buy you some ice cream later.” His eyes shone almost immediately. You laughed. Whenever he was upset, ice cream would cheer him up. It always worked. So after you were done with your meal, you found yourself standing in front on an ice cream parlour, dashing after your boyfriend who seemed to take more interest in ice cream than you, his girlfriend. However, the both of you felt dismayed when neither of you could afford an ice cream. You had to share. But maybe, it wouldn’t be that bad. Once you handed your money to Hyungwon, you immediately regret the decision. He was terrible at picking out the flavours you both enjoyed. So you snatch the wad of cash away from him, and decide on the flavour. As you lick the chocolate chip mint ice cream, Hyungwon gives you a suggestive look. “Hey babe, can I try some?” You nod and he smashes his lips against yours. Your eyes widen in shock for a split second. But, your hand reaches for his hair and gives it a tug. Your tongues are moving in sync and you can’t help but get more immersed in the heated make out session. Just until you realise a pair of beady eyes staring at the both of you. Turns out, it was a grandmother who felt appalled at the public display of action. You smile sheepishly at her, mutter a sorry under your breath and whisper to Hyungwon,“ Let’s go before we die under her hands.” He grins and drags you by the arm, running all the way back to his dorm.
