You know times are hard when Ultraman's Monster Attack Team member works as a school security guard. 😆
Bullmark wind-up toy of a MAT (Monster Attack Team) member from Return of Ultraman.
I'm not sure if that's supposed to Hideki Go or another member of the team.
The MAT Arrow 1 from Return of Ultraman.
A look inside the MAT Arrow No. 2.
"Holy sheep dip! What the #%$*& is that?"
Ueno was a little unclear on what the "M" stood for in MAT.
Dan Moroboshi and Ultraseven action figures from Takara.
Technically, this figure is not identified as Dan Moroboshi, just an anonymous member of the Ultra Guard. That's probably because Dan doesn't have huge blue eyes.
For some reason, Ultraseven appears to be smiling.
Admittedly, I do not know a lot about this line. The bodies appear to be based on Hasbro's original G.I. Joe action figures, and I know the two companies have - and continue to - work together on several toy lines (Transformers, Micronauts, etc). I have also seen photographs of the Ultra Guard figure, who also doubles as a MAT member--
--slipping into an Ultraseven costume. I'm guessing the costumes/uniforms were interchangeable like with G.I. Joe.
I do know that trying to purchase these guys in any sort of decent condition will put you back a pretty penny. I spotted a single boot from a costume in this line - just one boot, mind you - going for more than $200 on eBay.
Too rich for my blood. I gotta save for a new car right now.
