Thank you to everyone who submitted characters, wrote propaganda, and voted in these polls! The past four months have been loads of fun for me, and I hope they have been for you as well.
I have one more two-round bracket planned, which will start tomorrow, and after that I have a couple of bonus polls to post, and other than that the blog will be pretty quiet until next September. I will, of course, continue to reblog other polls that feature podcast characters, so please send any you find my way! If you really like my polls, you can follow my other tournament blog @best-shapes.
The 2024 Sexiest Podcast Character Bracket is currently under construction.
Round 1 had 3,803 votes over 7 polls, with over half of those votes coming from the Garfield vs Dyre poll. As these brackets weren't quite full, the heaviest hitters were saved for Round 2 (except for Garfield because I did not anticipate that he'd be so popular).
In the Divine Monsters/Monstrous Divines/Desiccated Husks of Once Great Beings/Uniquely Powerful People Who Cannot Be Mistaken For Human Bracket, we are judging based on pure sexiness, like with the main tournament.
For the Heaviest Eye-Motifed Narrator/Best Eye-Themed Protagonist Bracket, we are judging 39.7% based on eyes, 31.7% based on sexiness, and 28.7% based on narration. But mostly we are looking at the combination of those three aspects. These numbers come from your vote.
Other Ongoing Polls:
Audio Dramas vs Actual Plays, ends Saturday December 9th.
Well that was sure a tournament! No time to breathe though, because I have two bonus brackets lined up and need to go to work in the morning! We got 17 characters from 27 submissions, plus some others that I thought deserved a spot.

Have you done that yet?
Alright. Thank you.

Round 1 Masterpost. Round 2 Masterpost. Round 3 Master Post.
Round 2 had 3,558 votes over 8 polls, with no notable Outliers Georg this time (although Jon vs Mari racked up a respectable 871 votes). Nearly everyone who was involved in Round 1 has been eliminated, except for John Doe (Eye Bracket version) who beat out his parasitic host Arthur Lester because #LoveLoses. Round 3 are the semifinals, and except for Arthur we have now come down to the art that inspired the Eye Bracket.

Lup and Barry Bluejeans (and Edward and Lydia) do not count. They are just normal people who have become emotionally-powered ghosts in a world where magic is normal.
If it's some other media, I will trust you to use your best judgement. Questions I would ask include:
What's the normal level of power over the physical and metaphysical worlds and does this character significantly exceed it? Did they exceed it in the past but now their power has waned as they've been forgotten?
Could this character be worshipped as a god?
Would this character be the embodiment of a nightmare for both a 3 year old and a 33 year old?
Is this character unique or are they pretty normal for their species or job? What's their peer situation like?
