This is a Gravity Falls fanfiction by the name of Monster. Inspired by these two songs. Song 1 Song 2
“MABEL!”
Silence echoed. Dipper's cry had long since faded into non-existance. Gideon was gone, panicked and ran. A body, all that was left of his sister, his twin, his best half, lay still in the shadows. There wasn't much blood, but Dipper could still smell nothing but iron.
Later, the authorities arrived. There was the girl, 19 years old, purple sweater with glitter and a shooting star across the front. The little blood that had leaked around her lips was long dry. There was no visible evidance of the farwell kiss bestowed upon her brow by her bother. Dipper was long gone, and was never truly seen again.
Two months later in a seedy hotel outside of a small town.
“GIDEON!” The voice roared through the hotel. Gideon's heart raced & his face was white in fear. A shadow and fire had been chasing him for over two months now. “GIDEON!”
“Be gone. I didn't kill her. It was your fault. You fa...” Gideon's tepid words were interrupted with a beastly bellow.
“YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES.”
Gideon fled. Stumbling around a corner and running as fast as he could towards his truck. It wasn't fast enough. What remained of Dipper came around the corner. His eyes glowed yellow, teeth bloody with several missing. His clothes were torn, near shredded, and his body beneath was barely any better. But worse, perhaps, then all this, was the glowing blue flames around his hand, and the grin stretched across his lips.
“Oh, Gideon.” His voice, no longer shouting, carried clearly across the lot. It was different as well. The shouts from before had been full of pain and anger. And had clearly belonged to the twin Gideon had known since childhood. This voice though.
“Come on, lets play a bit. Or perhaps you'd like to make a deal?” The face contorted violently. Anger washed over it and the blue flames flickered red and black. “NO! NO DEALS CYPHER! HE OWES ENOUGH ALREADY!” The anger faded. The grin returned.
“Ah. Too bad then.”
The next morning, authorities arrived on the scene. Of Gideon, there was little left. Several splatters of blood, and a smashed bolo tie. No one was sure what happened. Evidence of fire was found in several places. But no ignition source could be found. Several witnesses claimed that the missing teen was seen being chased by another person. But no one could say what the second boy looked like. Only that he moved strangely.
A year later in the forest near Gravity Falls. A figure stood near the top of one of the tallest pines.
“Come on, Pine Tree. Lets have some fun.” A soft growl was the response. “Pft, try using some words boy. You're not a dog.”
“Why aren't I dead? The deal was filled.”
“Where's the fun in that. Besides, the deal was, we'd share this body, for your revenge. Nowhere does it say you die afterwards.”
“I expec...”
“I know what you expected. Maybe I thinks this way is more entertaining. What do you think of yourself, Pine Tree? What would your sister think of the monster you've become?”
A roar of agony, anger, and pain ripped through the forests near Gravity Falls. Birds fled and all manner of forest creature, natural and paranormal, fell silent. In an apparently abandoned tourist trap, an old man could be found with two objects in his lap. One, an old-fashioned set of glasses. The other, a picture of two children, twins, laughing in the late sun of a summer long ago.
