Have you ever wanted to know what the embodiment of regret and grief was?
Meet the Banshee, the most sorrowful beings out there. Their wails are songs of pure tragedy; a warning to those who hear it. Their ribs are always prominent, no matter how much the water tries to hide them. The heart, a beacon of weakness, is a sign of fragility. Their faces obscured, only their tearful looks peering through the darkness.
All of these features iconic, but only two things are universal about Banshees; they are all female, and are all miserable. These water spirits are reincarnated regrets, often making secluded lakes and ponds their domains. Banshees are not shy by any means, approaching those who come to their lakes. But they are impossible to please, as no matter what you say, they will immediately break down into tears, and hide away. It is said that the only thing that will soothe them is classical music, but no one has been able to play any for them.
But what is truly special about a Banshee? Their hearts. As if made of pure gold, they shine brilliantly in even the faintest light. Not barricaded or protected by anything but water cloaks, it would be so easy for anyone to reach in and grab it. But as soon as you do, it crumbles into nothingness, and the Banshee dies. Stories once told of a test of honesty, regarding the Banshee's heart. They said that only the pure-hearted could remove it without the heart being destroyed. That the heart could reveal the greed of others, but those were just stories.

The day came, a challenge like no other. A test of purity, or so rumors had said. The entire kingdom lined up, one at a time, stretched all the way to the quiet lake. A creature unlike anyone had ever seen, was being secured by the king's highest guard. The king had arrived on the scene to explain the matter of the event. "Greetings, citizens, I have gathered you all today for a special challenge. For you see, this creature-" The king gestured to the Banshee; "has been told to show the hearts of the pure! All you must do to prove yourself is grab the gilded heart, and remove it. If the color fades in your grasp, that is proof you are with filthy heart." The king stepped aside as a noble knight stepped closer, taking a grip and pulling it out. But to the knight's surprise, the color seemed to drain instantly, for he was not pure. "This challenge will be easy!" he thought. "The heart of this monster will make a glorious trophy, or perhaps fetch me a pretty penny. All will be clear to me in due time..." his thoughts spoke, until he witnessed how it dimmed. Dejected, the knight walked away, the soldiers taking the heart and placing it back in the Banshee, carefully and deliberately. The next person wasted no time, greedily grabbing the heart, but as soon as it was removed, it not only waned in glow, but started to crack like marble, much to the surprise of the king. "What? How is this possible?!" thought the selfish villager. "I had nothing but the purest intentions!" their mind screeched. The townsperson stormed off, after throwing the heart onto the ground. But, before the guards could put it back in its place, a peasant leaned down and picked it up. With tender hands, they held the heart, and not only did it restore its golden appearance, but the purity of their heart seemed to heal it too. The king spoke, voice quivering, as all stood in shock, "..You? Y-You, the lowly peasant w-were able to restore the heart of this creature?! This is remarkable, you truly have a heart of gold."
Many people have the belief that their stuffed animals and friends are alive, and what if I told you that was true?
Plushies are very sweet and very interesting beings. They can be ghosts, but not all are. You see, it all depends on the circumstances for the Plushie. A lost or young soul could possess a stuffed animal and make it their new vessel. Or through pure rage or dejection of being thrown away, they could awaken and have full control over their body. But one thing remains certain, and that's the fact that no matter their cause for life, they will always start out in an infantile state.
But Plushies do not grow with age, much like a Poltergeist, Bedsheet or even Blanket ghosts, they can age, but their appearance will always stay the same. The Plushies start out only being able to inch around, and squeak, but most of the time they sleep. Eventually, they'll get a better hang on how their body works and start speaking, though they still use their squeaks to communicate from time to time. They mature much like humans do, learning how to react to situations from the others around them. Of course, most are rather friendly, but the ones who've been thrown away in the past can be rather hesitant to trust others. Plushies are very social, so you'll almost never see one alone. The only instances of Plushies being spotted alone are ones who live on the streets.
No matter how angry a Plushie is, they can never do substantial harm to you because of their soft and squishy bodies. But you should never just ignore how they feel, just because you know they can't really hurt you. Like any being, you should treat them with respect, and as long as you are kind to them, they will repay you with their companionship. Speaking of companions, most Plushies are very affectionate, and curious. But that curiosity can get them hurt, so sometimes you might see a grumpier plushie trying to protect them. This is especially common when they're young, as the grumpy Plushies might often let out angry squeaks, as a way to try to tell the more curious ones to be careful, or to advise them to stay away. These squeaks often wake other Plushies, and it's not easy for them to fall back asleep. If you try to approach the curious Plushies, the grumpier ones may try to get between you and them, as they might see you as a threat. You should just allow the Plushies to approach you, and don't make any sudden movements. All in all, Plushies are soft and sweet, even if they don't quite seem that way.

Whoever says all bunnies are the symbol of innocence, Dust Bunnies will prove them wrong.
Though that pile of fluffy fuzz in the dark corners of your room looks cute, you must beware of their might. Nearly from the second they're born, Dust Bunnies have only one, and I mean one thing they care about; cleaning. They'll hop around your room collecting pieces of garbage to use in various activities. They'll use some bigger pieces of garbage to build a nest, but most of the time, the pieces they find just get recycled. Sometimes they'll eat smaller pieces they find, like crumbs.
Only about the size of a kitten, this creature may not have bold colors, but their grumpy stare is warning you not to mess with them at all. Since Dust Bunnies are made of dust, dirt, lint, hair, and other dirty substances, you could get seriously sick hanging around one for too long, especially if you don't wash your hands often. Not like they'll really let you hang around them though, because they're pretty aggressive. Anyone who becomes allured by their small and fluffy appearance of a Dust Bunny will get a stern warning, and if they continue trying to show love, will get attacked and bitten, which 95% of the time will instantly infect the wound. You should really consider leaving it alone after that, because if you really try your luck, you'll get dropkicked so hard, that you'll get the wind completely knocked out of you, and most likely have a giant bruise to remember the occasion.
Though they may seem like creatures who are always grumpy, that's not the case at all. They love cleaning more than anything, and are quite happy devoting all of their time to doing it. The only reason why they're grumpy is because they're constantly being interrupted while they're working by others trying to show them affection. But ironically enough, they pay no attention to their kids when they are born. So why even have kids? Well, their small size makes it pretty difficult to get everywhere, so they figure it's best to get some more hands on deck, to make the process easier. So when they're ready to have kids, they set up a nest in a dark grungy corner, and refuse to clean that area until the kids have fully formed. And after that, the children are given a task to clean up the very nest they were born in. And after they complete that task, they go off into different rooms of the house to clean until they're ready to start building a nest of their own. If you somehow manage to anger multiple Dust Bunnies at once they will combine into one larger being that can be around the size of an elk.

Monsters like no other, a combination of Blankets and Sheets, this curious being is not a spirit, it's entirely separate.
Quilt Monsters are very mysterious. Nobody really knows what they look like. All you can see are its little eyes peering at you, from the dark depths of the cloth. And though not a ghost, they share some similar tendencies of both Sheets and Blankets.
They can be rather shy and introverted, but like Blankets, they typically use blankets, especially quilted blankets, to cover themselves. They can be fond of humans, hugging them happily if they get to know one. But they rarely ever approach others first, so if you wish to befriend one, you'd have to go out of your way to find it first. Those who get close with Quilt Monsters are said to be able to see their true forms, but some people say that their appearance is their true form. Animal noises like deer bleats, or duck quacks can be heard when they're happy. They are said to have some control of the size or shape of their bodies, but this hasn't been investigated yet. No two Quilt Monsters look the same, there's always a minute difference between them!
Quilt Monsters love living in cabins and cottages, as they see those places to be the quietest and coziest to thrive. They enjoy different treats depending on where they live. If a Quilt Monster lives in a cabin, they might prefer to eat cookies and hot chocolate, whereas cottage dwelling ones will eat bread/crackers, fresh berries and veggies, and wash it down with tea. Recent studies show that Quilt Monsters can evolve, and that there's a possibility you could see smaller ones inside your home, but it's just not efficient enough to bother doing so. But no matter where they live, they never go outside, as they do not want to be seen by others. They are very cuddly beings, but very shy ones at that. They find it easier to approach others when they are drowsy, so if you suddenly seem to be sleepy, that may be the work of Quilt Monsters. They'll rest on your lap, on the floor, or even in a drawer, because almost every surface is comfy to them. Cabin Quilt Monsters habitually rest near fireplaces, but cottage living ones, will rest in little nests, either made of random stuff they find, or of hay and sticks, the latter option is always constructed by humans out of hospitality. But at the end of the day, their favorite place to rest is in bed with you.
