I geuinely do not understand people defending the Nintendo Direct. Im seeing people are saying "oh people who only play mario games think the direct sucks. Us REAL gamers love the direct and its so good."
The direct:
It gets to a point where third party ports become too much. It gets to a point where i ask "are old games on a platform that's gonna make them more expensive than they need to be, really all that exciting?"
I know people have PTSD of the Wii U where it had no third party support and people wanna dick ride Nintendo but it gets to a point guys. You know where else I can play DMC 5 and significantly cheaper? PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X. And its been out FOR YEARS!!!! And dont get me the whole "but portability!" Bro I know your ass ain't leaving the house man. You just wanna move from your desk to a couch. Thats your idea of portablity.
Sure did the direct had some cool shit on paper? Sure. Kingdom Hearts 4 was a surprise! But it was paced horribly where the cool shit wasn't shown off enough but instead we got 2 minutes of THUMB WRESTLING!!!!
Im just thinking what do these ports even appeal to? People who have a switch 2 and switch only? That collective of people is so small because if you have the cash to get a switch 2 then you have the cash for a ps5 before the insane price hike or an xbox before the price hike.
You know, in a year's time the 3DS had a redemption arc, the Switch 2 is still in the mud and the mud is made out of several year old games that are cheaper in other places.
Surprising no one, KH3 plays so much better natively than on cloud
