chapel, how do you think buddie's first date would go?
PLEASE they would both be so nervous and awkward for about five seconds before they have the moment of "this is so stupid, we're the same people, we know each other, we can just be normal about this" and then it's great. They probably start at a nice restaurant or something and realize it's not their speed and just contributing to the feeling of it being A Date and a big pressure situation so they leave and end up like...going to a taco truck and taking a walk and they're doing the shoulder brush thing they always do and one of them has a quiet moment of "wait, this is...allowed now" and grabs the other's hand the next time their shoulders brush, even if maybe for only a moment (because I feel like things like openly holding hands in public are still going to be a process for them).
