Kindred ~ Bora and Kevin

Kevin ran through the trees with his wolf cub Aaru, hunting prey. They were running down a deer and Aaru's eyes were ablaze with love for Kevin and the thrill of the hunt. Kevin loved his "son" just as much. Kevin was in his human form at the moment.  Kevin was a werewolf, a particularly powerful one. He chose at times to remain in human form for training and hunts like these so he could strengthen both sides of him. He was still stronger and faster than a human in this form so he kept up with Aaru easily. He cut off the deer, driving it towards Aaru, who leapt onto the deer and sank his teeth into it's neck. Kevin jumped on as well to help subdue it and keep it from hurting his son. As an alpha werewolf, Kevin was kin to all wolves and werewolves. They wouldn't attack him and would even come to his aid if needed. He often wished that were also true of his wife Bora. 

Bora was a pureblood vampire. Vampires and werewolves had been blood enemies for untold generations. Despite their genetic differences though, their hearts burned with love for each other. He loved her with all of his heart and would die for her in an instant. Her and their unborn daughter, Layla, who would be a true hybrid. Half vampire, half werewolf.  He hoped their love and the birth of their daughter would usher in a new age for both their kind. He had dreams of vampires and werewolves hunting together instead of each other. He hoped this day would come soon.

After they brought down the deer, he hoisted up the carcass and carried it home. He didn't want to be gone too long. He knew Bora was leaving in a few minutes to go back to their old house to pick up a few things and he didn't want to miss her. They had built their present home together in the forest here, to symbolize building their lives together, keep away from overly curious humans, and to allow he, Aaru, and eventually, their daughter, to run and hunt. He smiled and his heart filled with love as he saw her standing outside as he walked up, Aaru running to see his mother.

A Cup of Tea - Jinri and Kevin

Kevin walked into the small cafe at a less traveled part of Seoul. The place was called Sweet Temptations. Having a sweet tooth, he wasn't able to resist the selections of desserts displayed in the shop window. He sat down at a table picked up a menu, smiling as the waitress came up.

Mysteries - Vida and Kevin

Kevin walked through streets of the Gwangjin district of Seoul. He was shopping for a gift for his wife Bora, looking for something unique to surprise her. He passed the a few clothing and general merchandise shops but nothing called out to him. He sighed. He had given her all the traditional gifts but he wanted to find something unique. Then a particular store caught the corner of his eye. It was a magic shop. Not for magicians or tricks to play at home. It was a shop that carried rare occult items. Rare to see in Seoul. He raised an eyebrow and a small smile played across his lips as he headed in its direction. He saw a beautiful woman, a foreigner, inside and smiled at her as he walked inside.

Reunion - Yenny and Kevin

Kevin was excited as he drove over to his best friend Yenny's penthouse. She'd only been back from America for a few days and they still had a lot of catching up to do. She was not only his best friend, she was also his childe. Kevin was a hybrid, a blending of werewolf and vampire. It was over a year ago that he found her bleeding to death in her home, victim of an attack by demons. To save her life, he made her like him. He turned her from human to hybrid. His blood now ran through her veins. He was her sire and she was his childe. Above all else though they were best friends. Knowing her way back when they were both human. He pulled into the parking lot with some containers of food he brought with him. A Mexican dinner he made himself. He pulled out his phone and called her. "Yenny? I'm here and I brought food!"

Shadows in the Forest - Minzy and Kevin

Kevin was excited. He moved through the crowds of downtown Seoul on his way to meet his older sister Minzy. They had agreed to meet at a cafe’ here where they first met to start a more serious training regimen. They had adopted each other as brother and sister that day. Having felt an almost instantaneous connection and bond, despite the fact that they had almost nothing in common. Kevin was a hybrid, a blending of two species, werewolf and vampire, wolf and bat, he had been human less than a year ago.  Minzy belonged to an ancient race called the 'Nether' and was a necromancer. She practiced dark magic, a type of magic with immense power but with a chaotic and unpredictable nature. She was able to communicate with the spirits of the dead and bring them back to this world. There was much he didn't know about her abilities but was dying to learn. He always thought that was a humorous pun but it made his sister roll her eyes. That's probably why he continued to use it.  Despite their differences, or maybe because of them, they loved each other no less than if they had been born from the same parents.

He smiled as he saw the restaurant, quickly and excitedly walked inside to see his sister smiling at him from the same table where they got to know each other months ago. He kissed her cheek and sat down picking up a menu. “I hope you didn’t have to wait long sis. I’m guessing you ordered ribs already. I'm dead from hunger.” He chuckled as she playfully slapped his head and looked over the menu options. Neither one of them needed human food to sustain them, but one thing they had in common is they enjoyed eating.  Kevin had developed a new ability in the past few weeks. Being only recently changed, his abilities were still growing and developing. For those he was closest to, he developed the ability to communicate with using pure thought, without having to say anything. So far, he hadn’t been able to do that with his older sister, which surprised him as close as they were. But then something happened.  As he looked at the menu, the words ~ Our enemies from Erebus are getting bolder. I killed two of them last night but there are hundreds more to take their place. I want to intensify my training. I'd be grateful for everything and anything you can teach me. ~ appeared in Minzy’s mind without him saying a word.

Reborn | Kevin & Hayi

It was rather late at night and the moon was shining brightly, lighting up the dark sky along with the milion stars twinkling by its side. Hayi was walking around without a purpose and had started counting the stars, though she lost count occasionally. Maybe that would get her tired and make her return home, but she seemed to have much more energy than she really needed at this time of day.

The tiny wolf that walked a small distance further; growled happily as he was exploring every single thing in his path. "Don't go too far, Gah Mi!" Hayi called after him, not quite sure the bubbly ball of fluffy fur would understand her words. He simply looked in her direction upon hearing her voice and then went on with his exploring. Although he seemed to shorten the distance between himself and her. 

"That's a smart dog." Hayi turned her head to look at the male who had appeared literally out of nowhere. She must admit that he startled her but she decided to let it slide and shrugged lightly. "It's a wolf, actually." She simply said and eyed the male. If she was being honest with herself the guy gave her the creeps. And then her eyes noticed a shiny object half hidden, but she could see what it was. Her eyes widened as she looked back up at the stranger's face. A sickening smirk was growing on his face as he looked down at her.

Hayi didn't hesitate for a second and started running away from the male as fast as her legs would allow her to. She fumbled to grab her phone out of her pocket and dialed the number of the one person she knew would be able to help her out. It seemed like it took her forever to search in her contacts while she was running, unfortunately she wasn't really watching where she was going and ended up in an alleyway. 

A gasp escaped her lips when she saw the man appear at the end of the alley and he was stepping closer with each passing second. "Kevin..." Her voice cracked when he had picked up the phone, panick evident in her voice as she spoke his name. "You have to help me..." Her voice was barely a whisper as she explained what was going on, panick rising even more when the man was now close to her again. She couldn't even make out the words her brother spoke in return.

She took a few steps back in vain, the male just stepped closer as she moved and soon enough he had her backed up against the wall in a helpless state. It then happened all so fast, she could feel the sharp pain in her stomach where his knife tore through the fabric of her shirt and dug its way in her stomach. A gasp left her lips as he repeated the same motion a few times. 

Hayi collapsed onto the ground, her head spinning from the rapid blood loss. She fought against the heavy feeling and heard his faint footsteps die down. She pressed her cheek against the cold ground in an attempt to fight against the heavy feeling. The last thing she felt was a soft fur nudging against her body as the whines of Gah Mi filled the night air.
