Growing Up- Monsters Calling Home
They're walking heavy to the beat of a broken drum Digging for worth in a land under a foreign sun Their children call, bitter words of a strange tongue Hearts down, they're walking heavy till the dying's done

Run River North on a walk through the hills of Lexington, Kentucky while on tour in April.
I saw this "best-live-show-ever" band DTLA The week I landed myself in this City of Angels. I felt comforted and assured that night by the grace of their creation. Affirming for me my choice to pack up a perfectly good life in search of more. Revealing to me a place where art lived in the human form and people stood sweetly in the excellence of their gifts. Souls on the front porch, with the message "yes, its all real".
My favorite song from that show:
Here's to songs that helped build us and bands who lead us to feel more through every new creation.
