with a playful whine and the heavy thumping of an enthusiastic tail --- she licks the monster's cheek before dashing off into the night. no doubt anticipating drathenia to give chase. this was her way of bonding , simple yet effective , a light hearted show of comradery above all else.

The wrist offered to him was so gracious- even if her blood provided no real nourishment. It was still a pleasure to drink from her, which he did in earnest. As always he was gentlemanly about it- gentle in the way he bites and withdrew his fangs, to the way he draws that burning blood past his lips.
His eyes are smoldering.
Alucard stays like that for some time; there’s no need to rush. Eventually the well dries and he pulls away, not without an appreciative swipe of the tongue to collect every last drop.
