🐳 is extremely neurodivergent
🐳 basically a walking pile of autism and mild anger issues
🐳 is one of the most feared people in school, second only to Malleus because of his temper, height, and permanent resting bitch face
🐳 has selective mutism. Even on the rare occasions he does speak he's very monotoned and never really raises his voice
🐳 is an extreme hoarder. There are piles and piles of trash treasures making up his collection littered all over his room
🐳 he's very crafty, and loves making various trinkets, sculptures, jewlery, and other projects from all the stuff he's collected over the years
🐳 his hoarding issue started developing when he was a child. During winters when he wasnt able to hunt very well he begain salvaging various shipwrecks and selling what he found to buy food. Ended up getting upset that most of his collection wasn't being "appreciated" by the people he tried to sell it to, so became overprotective of his finds instead. Now he's at the point where he'll have a complete meltdown if anyone touches or tries to take anything from his collection
🐳 in his 1st year, Marco actually almost bit one of his dorm mates hands off their first week of school since the kid tried to throw out some of his stuff. It's what kickstarted the bad reputation and rumors that led to everyone fearing him in the present
🐳 his favorite food is tuna
🐳 his least favirorite food is smoked fish
🐳 nobody really knows anything about his family, and he doesn't really talk about it. He's not an orphan, and he's not on bad terms with them or anything, it's just that he's been on his own for a long time now and was never really close to them to begin with
🐳 never really went to school until NRC. Was raised by his parents in their pod until he was about 7-8 years old, and was homeschooled during that time, but then was left to fend for himself one day. Never really minded, and probably needs a lot of therapy becuase of the abandonment and neglect, but definately won't realize it unless someone he's close to points it out first
🐳 he's the tallest boy in school
🐳 build-wise, Marco is a mix of Leona and Jack. Def has a swimmers build
🐳 actually has very sharp teeth like Jade and Floyd, but rarely ever opens his mouth wide enough for people to notice
🐳 has lots of seasonal allergies. Gets hay fever every year on the surface and is absolutely miserable
🐳 snores. Very loudly. Yet another reason his roommates hated him during his 1st and 2nd year
🐳 always wears his pearl necklace. Considers it to be a good luck charm, as well as his special treasure since he found it during his first salvage raid when he was a kid
🐳 Marco's got two forearm tattoos that he is almost always showing off. Mostly because sleeves rubbing against his wrists causes sensory issues
🐳 has a couple of scars on his torso from fights or struggles he got into when he was younger, incuding one on his tail/thigh from this one time he got trapped in a fishing net when he was 10
🐳 if left to his own devices, would probably always smell of garbage and rotting fish because he'd constantly forget to bathe. Luckily his few friends and housewarden wont let that happen so hes mostly hygenic (as long as you dont run into him on the way back from one of his infamous dumpster dives lol)
🐳 Gets pretty bad grades, basically straight D's across the board with a couple of C's on occasion
🐳 his best subject is swimming. Even in with legs he's faster and stronger than basically everyone esle so it just comes naturally to him
🐳 his worst subject is Culinary. Do NOT let this man in the kitchen, he has spent his entire life eating only raw fish and refuses to learn anything about proper food safety
🐳 aside from that, hes also pretty bad at math and spelling since he never really recieved a formal education
🐳 is the founder of the Trash Lovers Club, dedicated to dumpster diving, beach combing, salvaging, etc. As well as documenting their finds in their communal scrapbook
🐳 the name of the club came about from a joke another Octavinelle student made his 1st year. Marco didn't pick up on the context that he was being made fun of so he ended up submitting it as his offical club name. Everyone was suprised when it got approved, and Marco doesn't really care what the name is as long as he gets to continue his hobbies
🐳 is technically more of a night owl since he sometimes stays up late working on his projects, but mostly he's just tired all the time since his gigantic body uses up a lot of energy just existing
🐳 sleeps a lot, and is VERY grumpy is woken up early for any reason. Early mornings are definitely when his temper is at its worst
🐳 discovered his UM when he was 11. During one winter when he couldn't find any valuable salvage he attempted to hunt instead. It didn't go very well at first, and his starvation and desperation pushed him into manifesting his UM
🐳 a major downside of his UM is that the hunger and rapid growth causes him to loose all his energy and sleep for a long time after he uses it. He cant use his UM very often because of the ammount of energy it takes
🐳 Azul has to have a special schedule at the lounge for him since most of the dorm refuses to work if he's on shift. he also has to exclusively work in the back because his very presence scares away the customers
🐳 Marco is actually afraid of Lilia and Epel. For both of them he's terrified he might hurt them accidentally since they're so small comapred to him, but with Lilia specifically he also has this deep animal instict to be weary and cautious around him. Something primal within Marco seems to know that Lilia is far more dangerous than he appears to be
🐳 listens to a lot of alt rock
🐳 if Marco were a music genre, he'd probably also be alt rock
🐳 Marco is close "friends(?)" with Rook
🐳 Rook has a moby dick level of obsession with Marco and regularly stalks him. Marco actually doesn't realize he's being stalked and fully believes he and Rook are best friends since Rook is always hanging around. Has way too high of a perception to not notice when he's being watched. This usually leads to Rook being cornered by Marco and Marco just asking him to hang out
🐳 Rook has an entire notebook specifically dedicated to all the info he learns about Marco, as well as a specialized album just for covert pics he's taken of him. Marco doesn't mind pics and ironically if Rook just asked him he'd get one (1) pretty boi selfie from Marco to have as his phone background
🐳 I kinda lied before. Marco doesn't just think they're friends, he fully believes him and Rook are dating since they hang out all the time and Marco has never opened up to anyone as much as he has to Rook. He showed Rook his trash piles so that means they're boyfriends now, right??
🐳 Rook's probably the only one in the world he would let mess with or take something from his collection
🐳 hes been preparing a special art project to gift Rook on their supposed anniversary. Hasn't made much progress on it since he hast found anything in his collection he thinks is good enough for Rook
🐳 at one point decided to go dumpster diving at the Pomefiore dorm to try and find a gift that might suit Rook, but that just led to him discovering Rook's trash schedule. He now has a secret shrine special collection of all of Rooks trash that he keeps hidden out of fear that Rook might not like him anymore if he finds out
🐳 Rook does actually like him back and keeps openly flirting with/ being very honest and verbal with his affections hoping that Marco will get the hint. He thinks Macro is just a bit slow on the uptake and is willing to patiently wait, meanwhile Marco doesn't think the flirting is out of place at all since he believes they're already dating
🐳 Even if Marco finally understands he's being stalked, and Rook finds the shrine, they'd both be ok with it since they know its just the way the other shows affection

Even though I just wrote all that info about Marco and Rook, allmost all of my OC's are actually poly so here's the other relationship info for anyone who's interested 😘
🐳 mostly shows affection through actions, gifts, and ocasionally physical touch.
🐳 the more Marco likes someone, the more likely he is to gift them something he's made from his collection
🐳 It takes a while, but when he gets close enough to someone he becomes an absolute teddy bear and is constantly wanting/showing physical affection. Wants non-stop, 24/7 cuddles
🐳 Is naturally pretty clingy, but understamds and respects boundaries enough to know he can't be by his partners side ALL the time (take notes Jarek)
🐳 he doesn't really have a "type" per se, but could only really get romantically close to someone who is accepting of his hobbies amd not intimidated by his face. If he feels like someone is scared of him it stops any and all romantic feelings he might have towards them
🐳 Marco's not really socially concious at the best of times, so if/when he realizes he likes someone he's a bit of an awkward mess. The already quiet boy will shut down even more, refusing eye contact and barely interacting with his crush
🐳 his mind would battle over the need to be close to the person he cares for, and the desire to run away as far as possible to save himself the embarrassment
🐳 eventually, if left on his own, he will probably gather the courage to gift his crush a small present he's made to gauge their reaction/interest
🐳 if someone is interested in him, he's never gonna notice unless its explicitly spelled out. Social cues are a foreign language to my poor boi and he needs all the help he can get
🐳 date ideas form him mostly consist of lounging in his room and body-doubling as he sorts through his collection or works on his latest piece. He will def clean off a space in his room just for his friends and partners so they dont have to sit on the piles of trash, or on the ground surrounded by it like he does
🐳 he already has a couch he salvaged from the Octavinelle common room and fixed up for Rook to use whenever he's over that he does his best to keep clean anyways
🐳 any other date ideas will have to be suggested by his partner. He doesn't have much of a life outside of his hobbies and has barely spent any time out in the world despite being on land for at least 3 years now
🐳 that being said, he would very enthusiastically go wherever his partner wanted to go on a date since he mostly just wants them to have a good time. They may have to stop him from rooting around in the garbage while they're out and about tho lol 😅
