SW19: Day 2 Wimbledon Day 2 Selections

ESPN has told me that I'll get 12-hours straight of Wimbledon, or 95 matches of tennis, today thanks to yesterday's washouts at SW19. I haven't done the recap yet from Rnd 1 since many are still in play but I'll drop a few more on you for today's action.  It looks like the Williams' sisters picked right up where they left off, but keep in mind it is only the first round and the competition might get stiffer as the tourney progresses deep into the fortnight. But so far so good, Venus moved through to the second round and Serena is playing as I type. There have been no huge upsets yet and I am waiting to see if Jankovic holds on or collapses against Martinez. We are on Martinez at +185 so that would be a boon if this were to happen. Everyone is looking for the match-up of the day, the rematch of Isner-Mahut. If you forget your Wimbledon history, it was last year that this pair played an epic 3 day, 11 hour and 5 minute match where the American, Isner, came away with the victory. Today Mahut will get and opportunity to avenge his loss. Isner is set as the -200 favorite to Mahut's +150. Isner is the favorite for a reason, his huge serve, but Mahut proved that he can serve as well. The person who also volley's well today will win and I am going to back Mahut at a good price. 

Day 2 Selections:

Mahut, +150, See above. Montanes +185, Yeah I know Seppi won his first ATP title at Eastbourne, but Montanes is good on grass and will give the Italian all he can handle today. 

Nishikori, +110, I am always surprised to see Hewitt is still playing tennis. Well, I guess it is better than a day job, right? 

Dandililou, -250, System play here. Bet against Vanderweghe in the first round of Wimbledon. Bet this one with confidence. 

Kirilenko, -350, I hope they show this match on tv. That will be a few hours well spent.

Gulbis +175, depending how these shake up I might add a few more later today.
