the second he hears the school nurse close the door behind them as they leave, theo is swinging his legs over to the side of the bed and ripping back the curtain between himself and the other in the room. “ so, ” he starts confidently, but quickly realizing himself after he’s in too deep. well, no turning back now. “ what are you in for? and please lie if it’s boring. i’ve been stuck here since second period gym for a shin splint, i started reading the aspirin packets for entertainment. ” he says, holding up the packet in his hand as to prove how extreme his boredom had gotten.
with a heavy sigh, saskia watched as students passed by her continuously. the deadline for one of her classes was coming up and she didn’t have what she needed to complete her assignment for her fashion course. upon seeing a familiar face saskia called out to them in hopes of capturing their attention. “do you have some free time?” the blonde asked with some hints of hope laced in her tone.

nathaniel didn’t want to be here. it was a saturday night, he was supposed to be reading or stargazing or something. he’d been at the dance for a total of five minutes and he was already ready to leave. he had received more than a few looks for his costume choice, but he simply glared at anyone who gave him any attention and they quickly scattered. knowing that there would be more than a few parties that wouldn’t let him leave, nate devised a plan. quickly scanning around him, nate started walking the perimeter of the hall ( trying his best to fade into the background ) as he looked for any private nooks. moving decorations and manoeuvring around structures, nate then realised the snack table was covered to the floor in a white cloth. perfect. seizing his moment, nate looked around to ensure no one saw him as he scuttled under the table... and prepared to take a nap.
