Remember when Comedy was smart.

My hot take is that; Today’s writing isn’t bad because it is directed to reach the masses, and is reduced to the lowest common denominator of attention, or intelligence. No. I think that today’s writing is bad because most industry productions (of both movies and tv shows) are don’t sure who they are writing for, or just don’t know their audience…. The more technology advances the more variety of different forms of entertainment, or art content, we can make, as well as mixing of genres and formats. Than their is a need for a new kind of knowledge or a job to use in the pre and post production process, and it is to do sort of matchmaking between the content and the people that will love it, and make sure it reaches them.

anyway I’m on a World Cup obsession right now and this popped on my YouTube feed and made me feel nostalgic…
