Starscream ordered for the ship to be temporarily stopped, and pinged a set of coordinates to Skywarp. They’d put him up on the deck. «I’ll meet you outside in a few minutes, I’ve got to swing by my quarters to get them.»

»Be there ASAP! Love you, Star!«

The comm disconnected the moment he received the coordinates. Teleporting was surprisingly easier with them and he managed not to land on anyone too. But the moment he sees Starscream? All bets are off and he’s got his arms latched around the other larger mech, wings giddily fluttering behind him.

“I missed you so much! I thought you died! I thought everybody died! I thought I died!” He’s a mess of chatter and excitement, and melodramatics of course. “I love you. Please don’t send me away.”

«You don't have to come home if you don't want to. But, I—would like confirmation you're still alive. If you can give that much.»

It took time to gain the confidence to response. His servos still trembled and a half-finished project was picked at as he spoke, voice quiet with uncertainty.

«I’m alive. I’m glad to see that you’re alive as well. I want you to know that I do miss you and the other two, and that none of you are the reason I’m not home. I’m attaching the coordinates for the lab I’m working at and the pass codes for the door, should you need anything.»

«Oh? You’ve built something?» Starscream’s fans were only the most impressive and accomplished of individuals. «What is it?» Is it a gift for him? He bets it’s a gift for him.

«I’m well enough. I’ve just finished checking up on a project the Decepticon scientists are working on. Top secret I’m afraid, but quite revolutionary, I assure you.»

Not a sift for Starscream. Yet. Bevel will surely come up with something fitting eventually. It’s hard to make gifts for awesome bots like Lord Starscream.

<<Yup! I made a big model of an Earth ship.>> No gift for Starscream this time but she’ll have something soon, just you wait.

He didn’t respond to the comm once he got the location. He didn’t feel like he needed to, just like he didn’t feel like he needed to teleport to Kaon. Instead, anyone with audio receptors could have heard his roaring approach long before they saw the purple and black jet. And when he finally reached that tall, shiny building, he’d waste no time in rolling to the roof.

His landing was a little less graceful than he’d intended and lacked the showmanship that normally came with Sky, aside from the flip that came with transformation. 

And he’ll just cling the moment he saw Star, nuzzling against a cockpit and whining like a kicked turbofox. He missed you, do you still love him?

man do you wanna be sad? you can totally be sad. KO can break down crying and starscream will go “primus below” and awkwardly pat him and panic a little. sad is definitely an option.

Thundercracker had a rough night frought with emotions. Some hugging from Rodimus helped, but as soon as he gets home he’ll do his best to nest under Starscream.

Truthfully? He didn’t want to go ‘home’, in the literal sense. Without Scream, and Warp, and everyone else, his home universe was just another Cybertron overrun with Autobots. There was nothing there for him except death.

Where he was right now, curled up to and around Starscream, was his current home, and it was a pretty dang good one.

Still... it hurt.
