3 am KOBD thoughts: I love both KOSS and KOBD and I LOVE crazy mad scientist Knock Out, but I really think it's silly when people say Knock Out never actually cared about Breakdown. Idk if I'm saying anything new here, I'm just yelling into the void tbh, but when he found out Silas hijacked Breakdown's body, Knock Out was visibly, loudly outraged. He was MORE than ready to rip Silas out of Breakdown's chassis with his bare hands, but Megatron stopped him, as I recall (it's been a while since I last watched the show and I'm shleepy)
I know that when Starscream asks if it disturbed Knock Out to be experimenting on Breakdown's corpse and Knock Out says "Not really," that that sounds like he never actually cared about him at all. However, I interpreted that as Knock Out having accepted that that ISN'T Breakdown anymore—it's Silas using Breakdown's body. He isn't torturing Breakdown, he's torturing the guy who's wearing his dead body like a suit of armor. He's MAD, not detached
Yes, Knock Out's a sadist, but he was CLEARLY emotional over Breakdown, and that emotion was very obviously anger over what happened to him, and he rightfully took that anger out on Silas (before the whole vampire-zombie infection plot line completely obliterated any meaningful character development regarding something that should have in some fashion more strongly affected Knock Out). I'm not saying they were definitely canonically together or anything like that, but to say Knock Out didn't care about someone he clearly saw as at least a friend on some level is just silly to me
Okie dokie I have spoken my truth. And now, I will go to bed good night uwu
OP you are so valid and also Knock Out LITERALLY SAYS "Breakdown would be tickled" as he first drags Silas away to be tortured
Like, that is WHY he's torturing Silas. He even blinded Silas in the same eye that Silas blinded Breakdown in.
I found this treasure in my art folder from over a year ago 💀
Sven Sauer - Deviation
The installation consists of 1,200 glass shards, each of which is aligned by hand. The train is moved centimeter by centimeter and each new glass shard is turned into the correct position so that the beam of light is directed to the next glass shard. As soon as the train starts moving, this creates a chain reaction of light...
Starscream still life ✈️🍒💥
would yall like to see my tomodachi life decepticons? :]
my island is continuity soup fr but i love how these two turned out <3
and some koss antics
We need to unalive them - negative phrase, focuses on removing an element of reality, of negating an existing pieces. All you get is the reverse of living
We need to kill them - positive, proactive phrase, focuses on the beauty of performing a completely transformative process with long traditions. You can always be surprised by the results of killing
reblog if you’ve had an online friendship that’s lasted more than 2 years
all hail starscream: why my boy’s the rightful ruler of the decepticons, and a genuine menace
okie dokie, so this is specifically referring to his prime version. i’ve been rewatching the series (for the millionth time) and every time i become more and more convinced that no, nearly everyone in the show is wrong about starscream. so i wrote an essay detailing why he’s not only the better option for the decepticons, but also detailing why the characters in the show are wrong to paint starscream as just a spineless and stupid coward.
(forgot to link this video by emperor kumquat, which served as inspo. be sure to check them out!)
and when i say essay, i do mean essay. it might jump around a little bit.
Comission for @16woodsequ🪽
HOLY TIT THIS IS AMAZING!
Oh wow I hate this. So I tested it a little on a side blog and this is what it does
Then, if you go to the notes on the original post, it only shows the reblog from "two"
So the OP doesn't get to see how much engagement their post has unless people like/reblog from the original post. If someone adds any sort of comment, it splits them up like this. Artists, writers, crafters will see less engagement, nobody will know how far the reach of their post is or if someone says something nice about it. If you want OP to know, you'd have to make a conscious effort to reblog from the first post listed in the chain.
Not only is this going to be bad for general community things, but this could easily promote harassment. You won't see anything but the initial reblog from you if someone makes an addition, so there could be whole conversations that go completely missed.
Thanks, tumblr. Very cool 👍
EDIT: Also, the posts aren't even properly displaying the notes YOUR SPECIFIC VERSION of the post is getting, which this post has shown me.
This is what I see looking at my post at this moment:
But if I go to the reblogs tab of my activity page, we can see
There's a few more than 20 reblogs.
@staff we hate this new reblog thing
Good news! They put it back how it was

I feel like it's a really common trope to have a non-biological entity disgusted by squishy bio things like secretions and flesh and stuff but. Wouldn't they utterly lack revulsion to those things? The reason we are repulsed by things like blood and shit and corpses is because they are intimately connected to our bodies, are uncomfortable reminders of our animal mortality, can be vectors of harm, or are a signal of danger. A being made of energy, metal, or plastic does not have the same sympathetic connections to these things that we do, except as a kind of intellectual sympathy for what people they care about fear. Disgust is repulsive, and you can only repel something if it's close to you. I think the things that viscerally repel a non-biological mind are not going to be biological.
I know it's a little early, but it's good to let people prepare!
