With Birdie's arrival pretty much being completely up in the air with how well past her due date Brie actually was, no matter how hard she hoped and prayed it wouldn't happen, she had a strong feeling Joe was going to still be in Europe whenever their little one actually did arrive. And of course she'd been right, and when she finally did go into labor, Brie had a hard time being that excited about it, because all she wanted was Joe there and by her side, and she couldn't help but to worry about him, because after losing his brother, Birdie being born was the one shred of happiness he had to hold onto, and she feared he'd be devastated all over again if he missed her birth. There was nothing Brie could do to prevent it, no matter how badly she wanted to, and Birdie was finally here, and as happy as she was about the fact she was finally a mom and holding her little girl in her arms, there was something missing, and that something was the love of her life. Then add on the fact she hadn't been able to get in touch with him, and her stepdad was telling her something about how they wouldn't let Joe leave the tour, and how he'd gotten into an argument with management, it had Brie beyond worried, and she longed for it I finally be that weekend when Joe would finally be home, because she just wanted to see him, or at least talk to him, just so she'd know he was okay.
