this is a really good question… if we’re speaking on canon specific, definitely poppy. oc wise, she’s very close with @alliezarin’s alice, and lilith, but i think lilith would sooner commit an act of terrorism than admit anything like that. she also is very close with and loveslovesloves @witheringwidgetwrites’s mia. 🖤
she’s a shy girl. if you’re trying to be her friend, i welcome you - just be warned that she’s very quiet at first. she does a lot more listening and studying of you, first because she can be a little nervous & suspicious, so she’s trying to really gauge you and your authenticity. but she will note things about you; what you like, what your preferences are. if you tell her you love having a slice of chocolate cake for dessert, she may not initially outright invite you to sit with her at dinner. but there will be an open space beside her and the most perfectly decadent looking piece of chocolate cake you’ve ever seen waiting for you. and she will smile to herself and hide it behind the rim of her glass when you take the seat and indulge. be prepared for many trinkets. some of them much.. stranger than others.
she attaches very quickly once you’ve reached that stage. is exceedingly loyal and protective of those she cares for, and will go to great lengths to keep them safe & happy. is someone talking shit about you? she will move quietly behind the scenes to ruin their life and no one will know it’s her. she can be clingy. she is also very physically affectionate but may hesitate at first to initiate until she knows you’re okay with it. unfortunately she will also take small things as great slights, can be quite jealous, and very sensitive.
