im back bc i dont want to let me gf know how scared I am :( she's really scared and I want to act fine bc I know if she sees me scared she'll be more scared. im not a person who scares easily, im really not. i have an adaptable mentality, whatever comes at me I can handle. but i dont know if i can handle these next for years. if it stays at 4.
i live in LA and i can say SOME of these fires are being started by people. like theres a LOT of smaller fires starting. putting aside the Eaton Fire, Palisade Fire, Hurst Fire, and Sunset Fire. Like, i had to evacuate work for a nearby fire and while i DO work closer to the palisade fire, this was a separate fire. This morning my co-worker texted us a video of another fire near our mall and like 20 mins ago i passed by a fire, could see the flames and my car went through the smoke, while i was heading to the freeway.
i could see the smoke from the palisade, eaton, and while it was bigger, the hurst fire, the first 2 are about 15-20+ miles from where I live. the other one was closer, but the areas where these smaller fires are starting are so separated from the bigger fires.
i dont say this as a conspiracy theory "they're starting the fires" kind of thing. I believe as of now the cause of the palisade and eaton fire hasn't been established, but fs theres arsonist about starting fires for the shits and giggles bc in the last week there have been about 10 separate smaller fires at least in the area that I live
