It's been a hot minute since I've had a chance to share any Mood Bait photos. I realized today that I've never once shown how he glows in the dark!
Because the liquid crystal must be sealed with epoxy resin, I mixed the glow in the dark powder into the resin instead of attempting to apply it directly to the surface, since that can look grainy. Unfortunately, that means that Bait doesn't glow super well yet. The first two photos are edited for higher contrast, but the third photo is not. All three were taken after a few seconds of exposure to a UV light.
Because his spots are turquoise and are lighter in color than the liquid crystal, the white glow powder shows up better over that, but he does glow all over. 💛
The Mood Baits did exceptionally well at AniMinneapolis, so I have to make more for Anime Midwest. ;) I do plan to add a limited quantity to my Etsy shop soon along with other TDP goodies, so be on the lookout for that announcement!
