I got into Sparklecare in 2019 and Uni’s personality shaped me as a person a little NGL.. so much so to the point where I based my main username on her via an inside joke n started using “bro speak” a bunch. N also went by the name Uni for a while, Found that unicorn dog cool man…

it's so dangerous for freakycare to be public. i don't care if nobody can reblog it. people that look for sparklecare can easily come across freakycare now. as someone who liked sparklecare when they were young, it's very appealing to kids. the bright colorful furries are perfect to draw people in. no matter what content warnings are put on a piece of media, kids will still look at it. it would be incredibly dangerous for a child to find freakycare and start to think "incest is okay," especially with the way it's framed as an identity akin to being lgbtq. incest is always a form of abuse, and it's incredibly homophobic for it to be treated like a valid label, only reinforcing harmful stereotypes.
sorry if this rant isn't written well, i'm bad with putting my thoughts into words. sparklecare really helped me cope after a stay in the psych ward, and i can't even enjoy it anymore since learning what's happened.
Oh most definitely agree with you on this. I got into sparklecare when I was 14 due to the character designs being very bright .. while I was super interested in the bright n eye-bleeding colors at the time. With how impressionable kids are there’s no doubt some will be brainwashed into thinking this type of shit is ok. If it is really a coping mechanism for kc it should be kept Private, especially with how easy it can be found and for the reasons you explained.

Man the rats’ dynamic is kinda weird looking back on it and knowing she is obsessed with incest. Like even prior to 2020 when she apparently started indulging in that sort of thing, they seemed weirdly attached to each other and not in a sibling way. It’s kinda sad that her own experience with her brother affected her so deeply that it kind of tainted like, literally ANY sibling dynamic she tried to write
It’s been so long since I’ve read the volumes but I think I do remember a bit of that strange attachment ? I’m not sure, but when I sent my initial post before going back to bed for a little bit I was thinking about how there’s literally no normal dynamic between siblings in the sch universe n it SUCKS.
Before then I associated Mood n Doom with me n one of my friends who I see as a sibling n even up to the point where I started calling them “bro bro” as a nickname. Honestly it killed me to hear that kc also put these two into the incest slop that she now does since I was very much attached to them </3 This reminded me of that I just had 2 ramble a bit oops

I like the preboot ! Back then when it was looked down upon I didn’t want to admit that I liked it but now I can fully say that the preboot was actually funny at some bits. I kept the google drives stashed in my safari windows since 2019 n they’re still there to this day LOL

Canon Mood … honestly I don’t remember how she is like in the recent volumes of sparklecare n I don’t have a lot of complaints about her character [if at all]
I think she stays relatively the same throughout ?? Probably cus she’s not as important as her brother LOL. Anyways I like her, one of my favs ! When I first saw her appear I was immediately drawn to her .. this cutesy rat girl ueeuee
