Formerly known as the Elm Camp, Ted Hilton's Vacation Hideaway, Frank Davis Resort and finally Sunrise Resort, this vacationers paradise dates back to 1916. It consisted of 80 buildings, including cabins, motel-style lodging, a dance hall, game room, office building and a pool.
It became abandoned after the state of Connecticut purchased it in 2009. Most of the structures were demolished in 2013. Today, a few abandoned buildings remain. It has since been renamed Sunrise State Park. Located in Moodus, Connecticut.
