Low light, winter moods…

It was one of those afternoons where, when the sun was out and I was in amongst the trees, the light conditions were perfect for capturing the feel and mood of a woodland in the winter. That was adequate compensation for feeling the cold, despite being wrapped up in layers of clothing:)

The Golden Gate Under Heavy Cloud

I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a few days up in The Bay Area to see my wifes family for the Holidays. We had a day to knock around and be tourists, and I feel there's no better city in the western United States to be a tourist than San Francisco.

We could have spent hours photographing these ever-changing PNW clouds. But it started pouring, and we forgot our umbrellas. Dumbells!!!
