As much as I love the dragons in the asoiaf universe, I do think their reintroduction to the world is a net negative for anybody who isn’t Dany.
When you strip back all the majesty and glamour, the dragons are big weapons that are unparalleled in their power in the hands of a single kid. Luckily Dany isn’t some conniving villain as of now but we may see her transform into a more cold and ruthless character.
Even if Daenerys never actually explicitly orders her dragons to harm innocent people innocent people will die. Dragons are not dogs, they will not obey their masters absolutely. The bond is a mutual thing bu at the end of the day, the giant fire breathing animal has all the real control in the relationship. What’s more is that dragons do not adhere to human morals, they do not care what the consequences of their actions will have, they won’t be the ones to have to deal with it.
