sun-neptune aspects make the native feel like their father belonged to the world, not to them. like they couldn't have him to themselves. eg their dad was a doctor who was at work most of the time, helping other people. positive aspects makes for creative, idealising people because their father was a nebulous figure slightly out of their reach. on the negative side if the father was absent in a more dramatic way (sun square neptune) eg parents were divorced, it can make for an escapist and addict. still creative tho.

mercury is how we learned to communicate. example: someone with aries mercury talks very loudly and bluntly because their parent was hard of hearing, so they had to strip their speech down to just the bare essentials to get the message across. that's why they may come off as clear, direct and to the point.

Generally this shows both are naturally in tune with one another’s emotions. There is an unspoken understanding of one another on a deep level. They know how to avoid upsetting each other. Both can become the most supportive people in one another’s life.

However, they know each other so well if they want they can easily intentionally trigger one another. If they want to they can turn from each other’s biggest supporter into their biggest hater. That is the danger of the closeness of this conjunction.

Moon conjunct Mars Synastry

When Moon is the man it depends on the man’s preference. Do they enjoy a woman who can be dominant? If he does, this can be great compatibility. The man will like that the woman is protective - jealous at times, and knows what she wants. He can appreciate her being a direct and a no bs type person. This can be like the meme of a man’s gf telling the waiter “He said no pickles” - basically standing up for him and taking action.

However, if he’d rather be the dominating energy himself, he can feel Mars is too dominating or aggressive for him. He may feel Mars is insensitive or reckless/careless at times. He may sub consciously feel a threat to his own masculinity. This can create conflict.

However, I’ve noticed when in the sign of Capricorn, the woman feels the man is a “real man”. Moon is able to trust and let Mars guide and protect them. In cap, Mars can gradually get Moon to let their guard down. The same could apply with genders reversed. Mars is exalted in cap so this may be why I see in this sign specifically it can work very well.

For your specific placements - There can be a push and pull energy. The Moon and Asc brings familiarity and good understanding of one another. Yet, Mars conjunct your Asc in natal shows you may be an adventurous and dominating person. (This is if your mars is strong and not receiving contradicting aspects in natal.)
