the moon is 

my real mother

I've looked for you In every crowded place and on every single face I've come across. Tonight I didn't see you, or really even feel you there. I didn't feel your warmth or guidance. But maybe you were in every tear and every drop of water that I felt like drowning in tonight. Just watching to see what I'd do next. And as that water receded maybe you saw me pick myself up and carry on, fighting for something I've never really had in the first place. Maybe you saw me get through and be there for the people I love the most. Maybe you're proud of me. It's a childish thing to wish for...but I certainly hope you are.
