Astrological Heads Up for October 31, 2025 (Happy Halloween!)

Friday the 31st:

Moon ingress into Pisces - exact ingress at around 4:45 AM (Pacific Standard time)

As always when I talk about ingresses I have to reference the sign that came before, because it’s my favorite way to illustrate the transition. The moon in Aquarius gave us a little more detachedness in connection to emotional perception, so of course Pisces relates to the endless well of emotion that resides in all of our subconsciouses. What emotion surfaces, why and from where is up to Pisces’ discretion, especially through a moon transit through this sign. The moon takes on an “unguessable” quality that can at any time be fueled by escapism and diversion from what is quantifiable. It’s a time for sleepy remembrances and meandering, and we may feel extra “lazy” as the moon herself draws us in so that we can integrate all the lessons from previous moon signs through the zodiac. The Pisces moon is connected to the very end of the wheel, which is why it contains a surprising level of wisdom, and a practically inaccessible level of understanding. This is a time for emotional surprises as we could feel it important to delve more into life behind the scenes. Some may be tempted to withdraw entirely, while others feel themselves blending and merging with others emotionally, to where it is difficult to distinguish boundaries. 

Pisces moons are an important period for dreams, imaginings and dissolving into the unknown. We could have more vivid dreams while the moon transits here, or we could find our imagination being put into “overdrive”. Feeling-states may be somewhat difficult to capture or communicate (especially true for if/when the moon in Pisces aspects Mercury in Sagittarius), since Pisces represents everything without explanation and things that are invisible. Our spiritual connections could receive a boost, and we could seek internally a deeper connection to everything and everyone.

As I said above this could be a day where we find it difficult to articulate what is going on with us internally. Feelings can arise strongly and then seemingly seem to disappear before we get a cognitive grip on them.- in more “extreme” manifestations, I guess. In more moderate manifestations of this aspect we could simply drift from one idea to the next and feel distracted and overly expansive in our desire to drift off, mentally and emotionally. Pisces has an unattainable quality, so we could find ourselves searching and seeking out satisfaction, just to feel as though we’re always coming up short for the day. This aspect seems especially challenging because Scorpio Mars joins in, to stoke our motivation to grip the ungrippable. Answers may seem to want to come from imaginative places, but when it comes to logical and reasonable explanations and satisfying conclusions, we may feel frustrated.  This aspect could represent impatience with the outside world, and further cause us to want to “rage quit” or disappear from overstimulating environments. It’s a good day for submerging into quiet and solitude, so that we don’t end up getting burnt out by Mars’ pushy energy leading us in intellectual circles. 

Moon square Uranus - exact at around  5:18 AM PST

This hints at some emotional turbulence, and we could feel especially sensitive to confusion around words and ideas. Thoughts could have a circular quality to them as Uranus tries jolting us with complex or unique concepts but the Pisces moon refuses to compartmentalize them in a way that helps us clarify and understand. “Emotional logic” could feel especially important, IE “I feel this so strongly so I know it’s true” We may try to absorb things from in a sensational way rather than valuing the process of linear deduction and breaking things down step by step; Uranus in Gemini in a square with the moon brings impatience with long-form processes that appear to lack inspiration. Thoughts could easily get confused with intuition or even emotional resonance at this time, because Pisces struggles with objectivity. it wants boundaries to blend, imagination to be real and unexplored reactivity to be taken as meaningful at first glance. The moon in Pisces can cause us to attach to what is wondrous and exciting, but it could be important to detach from a perceived need to go deeper into things that at times have surface level explanations via what is known.

im very tempted to just show you my birth chart but

moon square uranus would have like quite strong emotions but typically incapable of dealing with them, and that tends to be followed w being mentally unstable

moon square saturn would probably be too, but probably is the type to keep them buried and block them out, so to them most emotion is quite intense

moon square venus is more emotionally unstable within relationships. like you may want x,y,z but you need a,b,c. that causes a lot of emotional conflict and battles within the self.

moon negatively aspected in 4th, 8th, or 12th would be a sign

or maybe moon in general in 2 or 10

i think the moon squares are the most likely/tell-tale signs tbh

astrology observations pt5

- mars in 12th/ conjunct 12h cusp can be more likely to suffer from night terrors, and stuff similar to that.

- aquarius asc might dislike like their face (or them in general) in photos, but to obviously different extents (maybe just dislike photos of them, or to the point where they don’t want to be posted on social media, make you blur them out etc etc)

- moon-uranus aspects may use technology as a form of coping, like they distract themselves by scrolling mindlessly through tiktok or something.

- a lot of moon squares aspects usually also knows how to just turn off their feelings, like if a major thing is happening they can flick a switch in their head and just not feel that sadness or whatever emotion.

- i know this is pretty obvious but jupiter in 3rd tends to have a good relationship with siblings (in the cases i know, when they’re younger its not too great but as they get older they become closer)

- people who have 12th house personal placements are literally the best to rant to/ just talk to in general. like you can tell these people everything and they’ll help you and keep it all a secret. lowkey best people out there

- obviously not with everyone, and i’m not defining sexuality by astrology, but i know quite a few people with mars in cancer who are asexual/ see themselves on the asexual spectrum/ come across as asexual

- moon in 7th tend to really want a relationship, like the type of person to have a relationship pinterest board.

- a lot of people i know who have pluto in 5th are good at art/enjoy it a lot.

- sun conjunct saturn may feel the need to be masculine, or may feel very masculine, despite not seeming/coming across that way?? i’m not sure how to describe it, but picture a guy who’s quite shy and has 2018 humour who has the ego of a love island star, and is determined to be like one of them.

- people with north node in 11th are the best friends. they know how to deal with conflict within a friend group, know how to make you feel included, they are literally amazing istg

- i’ve also noticed that some of the closest friendships have the same planets in 4th house, i think this is because they were all raised in a similar way, and deal with similar issues at home. but i’ve also noticed that these friendships can be toxic, especially if the planets they share is like pluto or something.

quick astrology observation:)

the planets that have aspects touching your moon are likely to show other moon signs you particularly get along with.

negative aspects usually aren’t an exception to this, but in the cases that they are, they tend to be more love/hate. theres times where you REALLY click with them, love them, and just are amazing and perfect together, however there are times where you really struggle with them.

e.g. sun-moon, you may get along with leo moons. moon-mercury, you may get along with gemini/virgo moons, etc etc.
