do you write fan fiction?
I do write fanfiction, though I haven't actually actively written anything in little over a year. The last story I actually tackled in full length was a story on game!Iris and how she got her start as a person and a trainer and became the person she did today(Getting adopted by Drayden, moving to Unova, Dragon Village history, etc.) but I dropped the story idea as I was unhappy with the way I handled the initial beginning and other aspects like pacing, description and grammar and I felt like that really hindered the story's quality. It was a pretty sizable four chapters(25k words in four chapters :p) but in the end I wasn't happy with the story's aura so I sort of gave up on it. :X
Shame because I filled a composition notebook and about four pages of Google Documents blueprinting on the idea and I really had a lot of creative ideas on Iris and how I would handle her and the world around her.(Dragon-hearting being expanded on, her Druddigon being the child of two former Druddigon that ended up dying before her eyes, the fate of her parents, her relationship with Drayden as her surrogate grandfather, Hydreigon and how it symbolized her eventually becoming the Champion, the history of the Light/Dark stones, Benga(I guess you could label some of this as Dragonheartshipping interactions?) playing a role in the story as a sort of "rival" for her given Drayden and Alder are childhood friends(Along with Ghetsis), how she obtained Lapras, Archeops and Aggron, etc.)
Sorry about rambling ^^;; I tend to go off on tangents when I should give more simple answers to ask.
