second day of classes. already have too many readings to do. still have to quarantine until september 10th. can’t wait til i can at least go shopping for home decor and see the rest of my friends from a distance.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been on here but hello, not sure who will actually see this and care but here’s a little life update:
I graduated from college in May! It still feels surreal, I can’t believe I’m done with school for the foreseeable future.
I don’t have a job or even an actual career I want to pursue and I’m coming to terms with that. I always thought something was wrong with me or that I didn’t know who I was because I did t know what I wanted to do with my life. It turns out that having a job or career aren’t my only options post grad.
So instead I’m taking some time to just exist. I’m trying to figure out who I am now that I’m not a student. I recently got an iPad and have been having a lot of fun learning how to use procreate. I’m happy to finally be trying things I’ve always wanted to try but never had the time for. Here is the most recent thing I’ve made :)
Long story short I’m taking it easy until I know what my next steps will be. Actually I know my next step is to learn how to drive but that’s gonna take a while lol. Anyways if you’ve read all of this thank you. I’m not sure if I’ll be posting on here much but I think I’ll be sharing some of my creations once in a while. i love summer most when there are thunderstorms. up until a few years ago i was afraid of them but one day something clicked and the fear was gone. now, after too many consecutive sunny days, this is exactly what i crave.
august 30, 2020 I made it to campus and have finally settled into my house! I love my room so much because it has three windows and I love the natural light! I’ll hopefully post some pics of it soon. In the meantime I have to finish my essay tonight because classes officially start tomorrow. I can’t believe I’m actually a senior... oh also! the drink in the pictures are decaf instant coffee with pumpkin spice creamer and some cinnamon sprinkled on top, it’s soooo good. I cannot wait for autumn to be here :)

Got the first book for my writing class today! it’s Childhood by Nathalie Sarraute. Here’s the first paragraph:
“Then you really are going to do that? “Evoke your childhood memories”... How these words embarrass you, you don’t like them. But you have to admit that they are the only appropriate words. You want to “evoke your memories”... there’s no getting away from it, that’s what it is.”

it has been a hot minute! hello!
i haven’t been very active on here because i’ve been super caught up with college things but for the most part everything is going well! i’ve been loving my writing class so, so much! my class about monsters has also been really fun because we mostly get assigned to watch two horror movies a week, how fitting since it’s now october! spooky season! autumn! this is my favorite season so i’m super happy! anyways, i hope you enjoy this beautiful picture of today’s sunset (which i took while picking up my shake shack order with a friend, it was our first time trying it, 10/10) and also a picture of tonight’s full moon!! it was so big and red earlier but my phone couldn’t capture her beauty :(
