it's a routine he's fallen well into line with over the years [ . . . ] PACK YOUR SHIT , THROW IT INTO THE HEARSE , DOUBLE TRIPLE CHECK THAT EVERYTHING'S THERE , GET TO THE VENUE. with hopefully enough time to spare , to slather some presentable looking paint onto his face in between setting up. oh , the price you pay when more than half of the responsibilities are placed heavily onto your back and weighing you down like an anchor. but levi has no one other than himself to blame for that —— the perfectionist that would rather spread himself too thin. at least that way when god forbid something goes awry , he'll know where to point fingers. though this time in particular , he made sure to give himself a little extra time to spare for the company currently sat atop him.
THE HELPING HAND WAS MORE THAN APPRECIATED ; though at first he was weary of passing his products off into a grasp other than his own. a venue not yet booming with guests always felt like something akin to that of an abandoned ghost town when you weren't in the thick of preparing —— when nothing could be heard aside from bustling workers. it was only tenfold behind closed dressing room doors. THAT FINAL MOMENT OF PEACE FOR THE NIGHT IS SOMETHING HE'D GROWN TO CHERISH. tattooed hands rested themselves over the small of her back as she sat straddling either sides of his lap ; his face held by familiar hands as blues stared up at her in adoration with a growing smile. ❛❛ you sure you remember how i do it ?
