I will post the next few as I put the videos out and maybe when I’m done I’ll repost it into one big post. Okay, let’s get started :)
Moon in the 1st - Lunar Vulnerability/The Girl with many Faces
I have already made a video on this one 🌜 💐see here💐🌛 but now let’s write about it! So first let’s talk about why I’ve chosen the names I did for this one- vulnerability because when the Moon is in the very 1st house, your Moon, the deepest part of yourself, if the houses were all a big mansion that progressively gets furthermore hidden and mysterious, is kinda chilling on the very front doorstep. Your Moon is present whenever you are giving off a ‘first’ impression, whenever you do anything really because the 1st house is where we have to go before we do ANYTHING. You have to go to the front door to get into the mansion. This can make these natives very much vulnerable. The Moon and inner child are not at all hidden and are instead worn on the sleeve. It is nice because it can make the natives extremely kind, loving, nurturing and caring individuals, but also very fearful of new people, new places and new things because of the sheer awareness of their own vulnerability. They take on the physical characteristics of the Moon very much (big watery eyes, rounder faces, motherly or homely appearance) and may struggle with things like weight fluctuation and particularly strong fluctuations in hormones because the Moon being in the house of the physical body brings lots of these things. They may also experience struggles with acne because the Moon is watery and always ‘waxing and waning’, kinda like acne xD. The reason I call this, ‘the girl with many faces’ is because the Moon in the 1st house really can take on different personas and identities- partially through empathically picking it up, but also as an effort to protect themselves... the vulnerability of their Moon is right out there, but being able to kinda play around with their persona and show different sides to different people means they are less likely to get hurt rather than to show the same Lunar face to everyone. These people are very connected to their childhood too, always connected to it and never feeling separate from it completely (a good quality if you ask me!). I’ve noticed that they can associate almost everything around them with their childhood in some way, and if they have trauma they can feel kinda triggered by everything.
Moon in the 2nd - Lunar Sensuality/All that Glitters is Gold
I have also done this one on my channel, so please check it out 💐here💐, would touch ma heart :) but let’s get into the writing! So, I made this one ‘Lunar Sensuality’ because people with Moon in the 2nd are nothing short of sensual. Moon in the 2nd house brings sensitivity to matters of the 2nd house- food, luxury, pleasures, money, finances, comfort and I don’t see this talked about often, but mother nature/the environment as well. These people are very attuned to their physical surroundings and it can emotionally discomfort them to experience displeasure physically- unpleasant sounds, smells, and tastes can really displease them, although in contrast, pleasurable sounds, smells, tastes etc. can make them feel REALLY good, more than the average person. Some would say that the 2nd house is like an exalted house for the Moon. The Moon is very happy here because there’s safety, security, abundance and the comfort and safety to really be in touch with ones own feelings. The reason I also put ‘all that Glitters is Gold’ is not because these natives are selfish or anything like that, but because they have a charming simplicity about them that means that they can truly be satisfied and amazed by something that is physically enchanting and beautiful. Which is a good quality in the Moon- the Moon is the inner child, we don’t want the inner child to go through turmoil and pain and it is better if it is easier to soothe. Moon in the 8th house on the other hand, is always overcomplicating things and finding deeper meaning creating turmoil and intense battles, it doesn’t feel soothed until there is MAJOR transformation- Moon in the 2nd wants nuthin’ to do with it... lol. Moon in the 2nd house is very generous too, always sharing their resources and giving to others. Like I touch on in my video, Moon in the 2nd house can very much share traits with Moon in the 1st as well since Moon in the 2nd is still very close to the ascendant. Moon in the 2nd may, like Moon in the 1st but not as much, take on some of the physical characteristics of the Moon. Moon in the 2nd house simply wants comfort, safety, beauty, luxury and no dramas!
Moon in the 3rd - Lunar Curiosity/The Dreamy Poet
Here is the video I made on this placement: 💐click here💐. Moon in the 3rd house of communication, learning, speech, writing and self expression is EXTREMELY artistic and poetic. You may have your Moon in the 3rd house and not literally be a poet, but you will almost certainly have a poetic, dreamy mind and way of thinking. There is something very endearing, childlike and inclusive about the way these natives think, write and speak. Like I mentioned in the video, my lil sister has this placement and she writes fanfictions! They are always amazing and you can see the playful, magical energy of the inner child wrapped in with anything and everything she writes. Moon in the 3rd house is highly curious as hinted in the title. Being the house of learning, having the emotional, receptive Moon here means they receive and take in information like a sponge. They can be very fast and skilled learners, although, the very stimulatory nature of this Moon can mean they don’t want to stay on one subject for too long. They always want their mind to be stimulated in fun and exciting ways. These people are very affected by the words and speech of others. They can be very analytical of other people, having fun decoding the deeper meanings, signs and symbols behind the words of others. Moon in the 3rd house is very skilled in simply knowing how to speak to other people, and knowing how to cheer others up through the art of playful words and sparkling humour. It goes without saying that this placement shows extreme intelligence!
