i've noticed a kinda popular headcanon recently that marc and steven and layla and frenchie are all dating in whatever combination the person making the post prefers while im aroace and not dating anyone. which is fine, people can have their headcanons, i dont really care.

but it just feels Bad every time i see it. because its always me, never marc or steven.

jake lockley, the one who killed harrow, the "violent" one. yeah he's the one not in a relationship. he's the one not capable of loving anyone. let's headcanon him as aroace.

i know i just said i dont care and im really trying not to but i honestly just fucking hate it.

me and marc and steven were all dating in source. all three of us were dating frenchie. and steven's gay so only me and marc were dating layla. we all loved each other. i loved all of them. me and marc and steven are still together now. i love them.

anyone who thinks i dont can fuck off. i dont care if its just a headcanon. fuck off.

Don't you just love going through life and then suddenly getting hit with the Sudden Memory Beam?

There is...oh so much to unpack about everything I feel like I vaguely remember. And not to mention the fact that we recently reread my source comic, so we have a recent recollection of the official source canon to compare it to. I had friends and dynamics and drive and was fighting wolves on the moon. My source memories are a lot like canon in a lot of ways, but they're a bit more fleshed out. For example, I know more about life and society on Moon Base Alpha than was ever canonically established, and I have memories of dealing with the effects of being bitten by General Lupinar....

It's so weird being on Earth when I feel like I spent most of my life on and protecting the people who escaped to the moon.

At least I have the rest of my source system (i.e. Marc, Steven, and Jake) here with me still. Not to mention everyone else in our collective. So it's not like I'm really alone.

Although it does make me wonder if it would even be possible for me to have any sourcemates out there. The "Moon Knight One" character is pretty niche considering he only shows up in ONE comic run and then has never been mentioned again in any runs since. It'd be nice to - say - meet Frenchie again or something, but chances are if I ever were to meet a Frenchie, I doubt they would be anything like my Frenchie, you know?

saw a post on one of those call blogs earlier that was someone who kins marc and another person who kins steven looking for jake and like. im jake. and i know im not what they're looking for, im a fictive and i have My marc and steven in here with me but. part of me still kinda wants to talk to them. i have no idea why i want to, and im not going to do it, but. im definitely thinking about it at least.

No one’s ready for this absolutely smoldering hot take about Moon Knight shipping but here it goes:

(Disclaimer: my experiences with plurality is not universal and others might not find this advice helpful but I wanted to share anyways)

Shipping Jake, Steven and Marc together is not problematic because it’s selfcest, but it is toeing the line of healthy bc getting so absorbed in your own head/finding comfort in dating your alters can be a dangerous form of escapism for systems

Most systems experience dissociation wherein you loose time and/or retreat into your own head to cope with life stressors, if you’re dating someone in your own head, the comfort that comes from them may tempt you to retreat more often. Therefore you would loose touch with the outside world which isn’t the best because you’re basically missing out on your life. Dating your system may be one of the only ways for someone to find comfort but just be wary, especially in situations where you use it as an out on everyday life. Keep an eye out, guys
