My new little passion project! Gen, Berserk, Casca-centric long-fic in two parts. It's a post-canon related drama in which Casca is raised to ceremonial positions in Falconia but endures persistent memory loss. Summary:

She was a phoenix taken to the brink of death, but denied her sacred pyre. A phoenix gutted for her flame. And what manner of wretched bird remains, if not a raven dyed red?

Casca wakes from her endless night, unable to remember how the world reformed. Griffith is King. And, presumably, it is Lord Griffith who orders that her dreams be confiscated.

chapter 7 and he's already seeing griffith in the moon. recalling how he found some kind of solace in the moon when he was hunted down by gambino's men, asking where he is and where he's going. finding solace under the full moon / seeing griffith in the moon and dedicating his sword for griffith / moonlight boy saving guts and leading him out of being consumed by darkness completely (you might even say. his being totally eclipsed. lol)
