the orchestral of Moonlight Sonata has a completely different vibe from the piano arrangement
hearing it this way, I am 99% certain it was a major influence to the Kingdom’s Edge track in Hollow Knight (if not THE influence)
in other news i have GRAVELY underestimated Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata
yuka ayukawa is like if moonlight sonata was a person
Put Moonlight Sonata on that Official Playlist you cowards
Today my music teacher handed over Beethoven's Moonlight sonata to me. It's an easy version because the real deal will be too complicated for me and she played both the easy version and the more complicated one and I almost started crying. I think that sonata is so beautiful. It's been played too many times and everyone knows it but I just love it so. As if I can see a picture of the moon when it's played.
I also told her that I have felt like quitting the whole piano playing because I never get around to rehearse and what's the point then? But it makes me so sad to think this was it. I must struggle on with my piano journey. I can't quit now. I must find a way to play more. If I play more it gets more fun I am sure. I will learn that sonata for sure. I must. If it's the last thing I do with the piano... that melancholia.
