“I don’t have anything planned.” Yusaku shrugged to which Miyu was utterly aghast.

In her exclamation, she thrust her hand over her mouth and gasped: “We have to change that immediately!”

She then grabbed Yusaku’s hand and his heart skipped a beat. She pulled him along, listing off bazillions of things which they would need for a party but honestly; the fact that she was willing to do such a thing, for someone as generally apathetic as him that warmed his heart way more than not only it should have but way more than any other gift or gesture which he could conceive.

Ami (Amy) Yusa/Pixie Fairy/Elf Girl - I'm shipping Yusaku with my YGO Starlight Heroes OC, Ami because I honestly don't ship him with Aoi (Skye). No offense to the people who actually ship Yusaku with Aoi. Shipping name for Yusaku and Ami: Pixiemakershipping 2. Ryoken (Roken) Kogami/Revolver (Varis) - Technically, I don't ship YGO protagonists with their rivals, but I'm making an exception for this one. I've been reading a lot of Datastorm fanfics and technically Ryoken saved Yusaku 10 years ago and he is Yusaku's special person that he wanted to save, so I'm kind of mushy over them. Shipping name for Yusaku and Ryoken: Datastormshipping 3. Miyu Sugisaki - Although Yusaku and Miyu have never met in the canon version of VRAINS (Which saddens me a lot), I read some fanfic stories of them whenever it's platonic or romantic and I find Yusaku and Miyu being together kind of cute, so I'm mushy over them as well. Shipping name for Yusaku and Miyu: Moonlightshipping 4. Ai - Um... I don't know why I shipping this all of the sudden. Maybe because I read some fanfic stories of them together and Ai did say "I loved you" as he dies in Yusaku's arms at the end of the series, so I'm guessing this is canon, I guess??? Shipping name for Yusaku and Ai: Aiballshipping.

Sorry for the wait~ Have some fluffy angst.

Miyu was finally out of the hospital.

Yusaku had been visiting the girl frequently during her stay, especially on days where Aoi was too busy to make it. Days like today. Aoi had already apologised profusely over the phone for not being able to make it on the day that Miyu was discharged, but Miyu was oddly silent, simply nodding and accepting the apology.

It had been an odd experience. He hadn’t been able to get into an in depth discussion with Takeru about their shared experience, but with the amount of time he’d spent visiting Miyu it was bound to come up eventually.

Unlike Spectre, the anomaly, it had been interesting to speak to another person who had gone through the lost incident. Yusaku had quickly bonded with Miyu because of it (despite his best efforts to avoid getting too attached), and had soon began visiting her just to pass the time.

He didn’t want to admit to himself that he probably saw something in her. Even though he knew it was undeniable. He’d visited almost every day for the past month.

Thankfully, it seemed like Miyu enjoyed his presence. How, he wasn’t sure, but he wasn’t going to complain.

“Yusaku!” He was brought out of his thoughts by a cheerful call, and he turned to see Miyu exiting the hospital with a wide smile. He gave a wave and a small smile in response.

“Miyu.”

The girl approached quickly, coming to a stop in front of him.

“Sorry for the wait. They wanted to run even more tests just to make sure everything was okay.”

Yusaku nodded with a slight frown. “It’s fine. Did everything go well?”

She raised a hand in a thumbs up position. “Everything is okay! I’m officially discharged!”

The pair began to walk away from the hospital.

Miyu sighed. “It’s too bad Aoi couldn’t make it, too. I wanted to see her.”

Yusaku nodded in silence. He couldn’t really say anything to that.

A few minutes passed with no conversation. It was odd, since usually Miyu was more talkative than that. Yusaku looked at her, and became surprised.

Miyu was fidgeting, looking like she wanted to talk, but also looking uncomfortable. As he watched curiously, she made eye contact, froze, then looked away.

“Are you alright?”

Her steps faltered for half a moment, but continued as normal. “I’m fine!”

He tried to ask again but she ignored him, so they continued to make their way to the plaza, where Yusaku knew Shoichi would be waiting for them.

Before they reached it, he felt a tug on his shirt. “Yusaku…”

He stopped, turning to look at Miyu. “What is it?”

“Thank you for visiting so much. You didn’t have to.”

“It’s fine. It was nice to talk to someone else who went through the lost incident, as well.”

She nodded. “That too, I guess. But, I mean in general. I had nobody else visit aside from you and Aoi. Not even my own mother.”

Yusaku sucked in a breath. Despite how much he’d visited, Miyu never talked about her family. He supposed this was why. “I’m sorry to hear that.”

“I expected it. She doesn’t love me, anyway.”

The words made them descend into an awkward silence. Yusaku could see the beginnings of tears forming at her eyes, but then she blinked them away.

A stray thought crossed his mind, but he ignored it, thinking there wasn’t a need, until he saw her trembling.

So he voiced it.

“I think people hug at this point.” He said it slowly, urging himself to say the words.

She froze, but then nodded, just slightly.

He moved forward, embracing her, and after a short moment she hugged him back. A quiet voice came from her mouth.

“Thank you.”

10. Who likes sweet/ Who likes sour?

Miyu likes both, but heavier preference for sweet, whereas Yusaku dislikes both.

11. Who likes horror movies/ Who likes romance movies?

they both stomach horror rather well but Miyu likes fluffy chick flicks better. Yusaku could care less for plot or content and likes to pick apart how well the technicals of the movie are, like camera angles, lightning, etc.

16. Who is scared of thunderstorms?

Neither. Miyu loves rainy weather, especially when it comes with a light show, whereas Yusaku isn’t really fussed either way but probably prefers drier weather since he doesn’t have to worry about his clothes getting wet and stuff.
