Solar Eclipse. ☀️ 🌙
This is probably the prettiest thing I've ever drawn, and I'm proud ✨. I made this yesterday and I wanted to post it then, but I decided to post it today cause of the previous post, so here it is. This is for the incredible solar eclipse that happened on April 8th, and the amazing way of how the sun and moon came together! This was fun to make, and I'm happy with it 💖.

We laughed over stupid jokes before bed. He was getting sleepy, and started partially sleep talking—by partial, I mean that he says words while half-awake but he isn't aware of its context. He started saying things like... belt, class, and that "I'll say it for now... you're my prisoner."
"Close your eyes, open your eyes, close again~" I sang to him Eternal Phlegm, which is just a parody song that doesn't make sense, and I love it. I sang as much as I could, and he was preventing himself from laughing out loud, slowly failing.
He started laughing less airily and more throatily. He couldn't stop laughing, and it just made me so happy to hear him laugh more freely. I wish I could engrave the sound of his laughter in my head.
My favorite moments of his are the ones where he gets to express himself, slowly lifting any restrictions he imposed on himself. I adore the times he speaks in a louder voice at home, when he laughs out loud at my jokes, when he plays his guitar with his amplifier (someday I hope to hear it in a higher volume), when he smiles and it reaches his eyes (they twinkle along with his teeth), when he eats in his room (so far he nibbled on a cookie—someday I wanna see him chomp on something), when he experiments on wearing the clothes he wants, when he yawns, when he records videos and photos to send to me right in front of his family, when he dances and sings on cam...
I love when he's unapologetically himself. I hope he keeps shining bright, like a gem*.

"Are you sleepy?" I inquired.
"Yeah," came his groggy reply. "My brain isn't working anymore."
"Yeah? One plus one?"
"Seven."
I chuckled. "Alright, two plus two?"
He groaned softly. "Next question please."
"Do you love me?"
"Yes. Love youuu."
I nodded, not like he could see me through a phone call. "Mm, okay. Would you date me?"
"Hmmm?" Came another groggy answer. "Sorry, what was that?"
Oh. Guess he didn't catch it, with all the noisy chickens in both our neighborhoods. I shook my head—again, not like he could see it. "No, it's nothing..." The universe really doesn't want me to know, huh? I thought to myself. "Three plus three?"
"Christmas tree."
Oh, we're playing rhymes then? "Would you date me?"
"Of course—"my heart felt somewhat cheerful—"I have to go on with our plans and take you to museums and stuff."
Oh. He meant the... dates... but not dating. "Okay, but would you date me?"
This time he got the idea. "Of course. Why not?" He chuckled after.
"Mmm. Would it be a casual date? Or would you court me?" I pry with more questions, taking advantage of his sleepy state. Cowardly? Perhaps. Efficient? Hella.
He chuckled. "You want that?" I gave an 'mm-hmm'. "Then yeah I'll do it."
I let out a sigh. "I wonder when that's gonna happen." I lie down on my side. "Does it have to be me that courts you? Or is it you?"
"Hmm. Either? It would be boring if it was just one of us courting the other." I wanted that, but I couldn't tell him. I also understand he had past experiences of one-sided efforts.
"Don't worry, I can court you too. Do you want me to give you flowers? I know you want them~" I said in a sing-song voice.
"Mm. Depends on the flowers."
"White roses?" I squeaked.
"Alright. I'm sold."
I laughed. "So the courting has to happen when we're face-to-face?"
"Yeah, cuz it's difficult when online." You could almost hear the pout in his voice.
"And boring. There's no build up." He grunted in agreement.
"Giving gifts is difficult unless face-to-face."
"Ah, I haven't gotten you any surprise gifts ever, no? I'll make it up to you someday."
"Me too, I'll make it up to you."
I giggled. "Just you taking me anywhere is enough for me."
"I don't know how my brain is working right now."
"Is it because the topic is serious? But then again you shouldn't be able to focus if so..."
"You're mine."
I was caught a little off-guard. Maybe he's just sleepy? Nonetheless, I replied with a smile on my face, "I'm yours."
"You're mine," he repeated with a faint chuckle. I contemplated what I wanted to say next.
"Are you mine?"
"Mm. I'm yours~"
Another soft giggle from me. I sent a kissy sound. (Cheesy, I know.) "Love you~"
"Love you too."
"Let's sleep?"
"Yes please."
On a moonlit night, one is happy to have a visitor—maybe someone one has not been all that close to who is kind enough to drop by. A man is all right, but one is happier if the visitor is a woman. And if it is difficult for her to come out, she can always send a letter. Someone trying to play the poet is tiresome, but on such a night the exchange of a single word can make a treasured friend.

Gefunden*, the first book in Carina Mueller’s Moonlit Nights trilogy is a sweet young adult romance with just a dash of paranormal danger. Spoilers ahead. The story is told from the first person POV of Emma and the narrative voice walks the fine line between being a sweet ingénue and a sassy teenager. I loved how Emma goes through the phases of mild disgust, terror, excitement and yearning of…

Mr Moon
I never thought about him much, until he kept showing up night after night like clockwork. He always appears shining and bright, yet with a softness I always took for granted. Oh Mr Moon I’m falling for you! I wait for you now night after night, just so I can share my dreams with you. And in your glory as your light shines, I fall deeper in love with your beauty.
