Spoonie spell to get more energy
Mundane before magickal: make sure you’ve tried all mundane options, including but not limited to professional help.
Every spoonie witch is different, so what might be easier for me might not be for you. I start my day by grounding and centering myself, then going into an active meditation to see where my spiritual/magickal energy is for the day. If this doesn’t work for you, please just make sure to do what you can. Don’t push it if you can’t, it’s okay.
This spell works best with your favorite thing to drink, or something you drink daily.
1. Choose your favorite cup or mug and hold it in both hands. Close your eyes and focus on how the mug feels in your hands while saying/thinking “at the bottom of this mug, I’ll find energy in the day.” Repeat this saying or thought every time you touch this mug (yes, every single time! Even on good days!).
2. Fill mug (or cup, etc) with your preferred drink of choice (mine is water or tea). As you drink, think “I’ll find my energy at the bottom of this mug.” Repeat on every drink/sip.
3. Finish your drink, as quickly or as slowly as you want. Repeat as needed. I find that the more I do this, the stronger the spell becomes. It’s one of my many spells that relies on repition and routine to gain strength.
Alterations to this spell:
- Can’t drink alcohol? Choose a pop/soda and change the phrases to “at the bottom of this drink, I’ll find relaxation.” (My “beer” is ginger ale)
- Need to focus? Change the spell intent from “energy” to “focus”. This can work for various moods, but I’d recommend choosing a different drink for each one. I use water for energy, tea for calming (earl gray for calm focus, green tea for casual calm), vanilla soy milk for reassurance, and ginger ale soda for relaxation.
