Moonlit Cryptid AU Story Tib-Bit (no specific time but near the beginning)
Days after getting the surveillance cameras up, they didn't get anything interesting until the moon came around the next night.
A large woman-like dark gaian monster can be seen partially behind a tree. Sonic was about to dash out to get it but Shadow stopped him.
Shadow: Sonic something isn't right about that thing.
Sonic: What do ya mean Shads, besides why shouldn't I get a closer look?
Tails: Guys why is my camera tripping out?
They look to see that the camera is a bright green hue with rings of cyan here and there, but Sonic picks up on something else and quickly gets worried.
Sonic: Do you guys hear breathing from the monitor, or is it just me?
*3 minutes pass*
Shadows: that's breathing, and it's deep but, labored.
Sonic: Hey Shadow, what color was the dark gaian's eyes?
They shape darts away as if it heard what Sonic said, but a shadow followed behind it, it had a long slender tail with something at the end.
Shadow: Green, neon green.
