Uncomfortable just because it's a change or is there actually something really uncomfortable for you concerning the design? Because I really don't like it when people say that something's uncomfortable, just because it's a change. I can understand it, but I don't really like it that people look down on it, just because omg no they are being dragged out of their comfort-zone when it actually serves for a better purpose.

And Twitter isn't alone with that. As far as I see, it would also be similar to Facebook. I don't really know Twitter, therefore can't judge how much similarity it holds, but I highly doubt that something like that will happen.
