I started collecting the Stars chapters of the original run of sailor moon from Nakayoshi Mag. This image of Cosmos and her revelation to Eternal Moon is one of the greatest scenes from the manga. To learn that crybaby Usagi basically becomes a Creation Goddess and the most eternal being in the universe, fighting far into the future to defeat Chaos long after the world has been destroyed is powerful and feminist and I love it.

In the midst of all this turmoil, I received this wonderful commission by @wafalo. It is superb and a real MOOD for what I’m feeling right now. ESM stands at the brink of The Galaxy Cauldron, the birthplace of the universe, about to take on her greatest foe, Chaos. All her loved ones have been taken from her but instead of being crushed with despair, she is filled with Hope. Even if she can’t stop the Chaos in front of her, she knows that as long as the Cauldron keeps birthing stars, that one day Chaos will be pushed back, and it’s that Light of a Hope that she carries with her as she plunged into the Cauldron and releases all her power, knowing it will cost her her life.
