Thinking more about the lovestruck au. How would they feel after all that? I mean, if, i don't know, Zanka would have been the only one who were hit, and Zodyl decides to use Zanka for their benefit, how would Zanka react to that? He was in a vulnerable situation, at least emotionally. He was used to hurt his own team, his family, how would he react?
Although I can't imagine the same for Jabber. I can't picture Corvus or anyone else trying to use Jabber for anything. But i reaaally don't know... I don't have much imagination for that
Dunno, I just want some angst, some miscommunication. They would feel vulnerable and that could lead to some problem between them (i would like to know more of how Jabber would feel after that)

Oh yeah naw they definitely would feel like all their emotions were dragged out and laid bare without their permission. Definitely embarrassed af.
I think post Lovestruck Zanka would feel like absolute dogshit for being unfiltered around the enemy, for not being strong enough to resist the effects of the “spell”, making Jabber look at him in disgust (although in Jabber’s perspective he’s just weirded out and confused) and obviously worst of all being a pawn to hurt his team. Depending on WHERE he would come down from being lovestruck I feel like his first instinct is to run. Maybe find a place to hide… like a hole 😈.
I have an idea for who Lovestruck Jabber’s antagoniser is. It’s spoilers for anime onlys tho so I’m popping it under a read more.

Lovestruck! Jabber’s antagoniser at Cleaner HQ is Tamsy.
That fucking bird that I hate. Anyways yeah I can just imagine Tamsy purposely stirring up trouble although even if he didn’t do things Jabber would still have vulnerability issues after it’s over. Tamsy would however push him to do things that aren’t seen in a good light by the cleaners. If he does anything untowards in his lovestruck state then the logical assumption would be that the idea of “oh he’d be safe because he’s kinder and more affectionate towards Zanka” is a fallacy.
Tamsy’s main goal however is to mess up Rudo’s whole thing to make him crash out so he’s definitely gonna try and do whatever will make Rudo crash out the worst. Even if this doesn’t do much for that goal it’s still fun. Inner Tamsy is all on this romantic drama and angst he’s got the popcorn out, he’s in his fluffy robes with his feet up on the ottoman. All that stuff.
Even if the aftermath also makes Jabber feel vulnerable and also run (with Zanka chasing because he ain’t letting this shit go) he would then have the knowledge of Tamsy being a negative force in the Cleaners and now he has to do some shit with that info which could also potentially endanger his boy Zanka.
Idk if that makes sense I’m half concentrating on a ghost video rn lawl.

Final thoughts uhhhh… I think even without there being antagonisers for the two the emotional vulnerability and how they react can cause some good angst. Those two are avoidant-attachment issues af. Having a “spell” negate the emotions that come with it and then disappear would cause embarrassment, fear, anger and a need to look inside themself. Or they could ignore it and suffer lol.
Btw I don’t think I’ve had it come out before that I don’t like Tamsy.
