If i saw a white girl in a traditional Mexican dress, even the ones used as costumes for the traditional dances (like folclórico), i would 100% be upset and offended, more so if the girl has taken zero time out of their day to find out what the dresses mean, or anything for that matter about the culture. And wearing it for fucking prom??? Why???? Get American traditional prom dresses, get a vintage one, get something form your own damn culture and don’t appropriate someone else’s for the aes. Tf
