The question threw him off when the older slayer asked it and Genya had to take a moment to process why Kaigaku would ask him, of all people. He gave a tilt of his head, a thoughtful hum on his lips as he looked to the older boy.

"I do, actually. You're abrasive sometimes, but I think that's something you do to protect yourself, the same way I do. I don't know a lot about you past the times we've talked or why you'd think you're not a good person. Bad people don't ask that question about themselves - they don't care what others think about them. So the fact you asked me is enough to show you're a good person at heart."

Genya offered Kaigaku a small smile. "Besides, if you were a bad person, your voice wouldn't taste like it does."

Giyu would never describe himself as bold or forward in any way, but the way he grabs hold of the collar of Sanemi's uniform and pulls him in for a deep kiss was the closest to either he would consider himself. Admittedly, he may have wanted to kiss the other hashira for a while, which was why he wasn't holding back in this moment, taking the chance that he was given to make the most of it.

He teases his tongue against Sanemi's, a soft hum in his throat as he tastes him in the kiss, then slowly breaks the kiss, letting his teeth pull at Sanemi's lower lip as he takes a soft breath. Eyes half-hidden beneath lashes, he looks away from the other man as he takes a step back from him.

"Was that good?'

"As if you could catch me." He countered, a wild grin spreading over his lips at the sight of the demon that had almost brought about his death. Perhaps fear should have coursed through his body and yet, even though they were enemies, there had been something about that fight. To be able to fight against an opponent on even footing who pushed you to your limits and beyond was a rush of adrenaline that was hard to match.

Genya froze when he heard his brother, quickly trying to da something ; anything — like either pulling the christmas tinsel out of his mouth, or shove it inside his mouth so fast Sanemi wouldn't notice exactly what he was eating while trying not to choke.

Out of everyone he hadn't thought that the Hashira would be the one to point something like that out. But he had noticed that the other seemed to light up whenever Tanjiro had walked into the room. And to be honest? Tanjiro had thought that was adorable. The fact that he could be so cold to others around him, but when it was him? Well, that was a different a story. The season was changing and although he did pretty well in the cold, he still didn't like it.

"It is?" It made him hope he wasn't getting sick with the weather changing. But then he remembered hearing the other basically call him adorable. His cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "You think my nose is adorable?"
