      𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐊. he captured the demon's chin between an index and thumb, subtly reeling him closer with curving lips. ❛ is that so ? ❞ blood riddled teeth peer from under, droplets rolling down like rainfall. humans never satisfied, but they were the ideal sustenance. perhaps sukuna is greedy, suppose there is more to be discovered and consumed. he wants to feel thoroughly fed. to divide, and 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐑 beyond the bounds thought possible. adrenaline courses veins, lower appendages clasping hold of his hands and forcing them to raise. he always positions him like a mannequin, forcing tenderness where needed. those palms are made to cup his face.

      ❛ it tastes just as good as it looks, i can assure you. ❞ luminescent red bears deep into the 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 of six eyes. those were his favorite pair, they resembled what the other may have looked like before his transformation. movement was calculated, leaning inward but making no direct contact. warm breath flush against an opposite mouth. ❛ lick it off. ❞

“i don’t know why you protected him,” a confrontation after their most recent upper moon meeting. akaza looks at kokushibo with the composure of a dog baring teeth — hairs standing on end, he can’t help but vent out his rage.

“dōma does nothing for our master — and he does nothing for you,” vicious snarl and a wild look in his eye, “he’s better off kept in that stupid temple of his, away from the rest of us.”

“protecting someone so useless is a shameful act.”

To Mitsuri from Kanae.

"You! Oh my gosh, you are so pretty!" The woman couldn't help but beam a little bit. Sure, this wasn't her first time being around the other, but she was always shy about being around the other. Most times, she would spend her days around Rengoku, since she was learning a lot from him. But to see her, she couldn't help but smile over this! A small giggle from her lips, she put her hands in front of her.

"Sorry, Sorry!  -- I'll calm it down. I know I can be a little much, but Rengoku rubs off on me a lot! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

She knew she could be a lot, but even so, she didn't want to see strange or weird to others. Then again, that might already be too far past that at this point.

and dōma looked her in the eyes one fateful eve — having turned around, taking one final bite from the corpse that had previously laid at his feet. he turns around to face kanae, a wet slurp sounding from his lips as he cleans blood from his fingers; savouring the taste of the dead.

“it’s a beautiful night, is it not?” gives a smile, as blood absorbs into his skin, “don’t worry, i’ve already eaten my fill tonight. i won’t eat you.”

he steps forward, however, to get a better look at her — commit her face to memory.

“you’re a slayer from the demon corps, right? i’ve been dodging you all for quite some time,” and then, a giggle, “you must be someone special, then. someone more powerful than the rest, yeah?”

“too bad i’m not a fighting type. conflict always makes me so sad,” and then, “how about we talk instead? we could be friends.~”

six eyes, this demon had six eyes that seemed to stare right into his soul and rip it into pieces with just once glance. his heart was pounding in his chest from fear, his hands were shaking as one kept close to his sword. zenitsu couldn't falter for a moment with the character etched into the demon's eyes.

"no..i don't.." he said, trying his best to keep his composure, but he was sure with how he was standing his fear was already shown.

his  mission  as  a  pillar  was  accomplished  —  he  had  defeated  the  demon  effortlessly  ,  saved  the  little  girl  and  sister's  life  .  .  .   how  come  he  ,  who  was  so  doubtful  of  children  ,  now  found  himself  kneeling  on  one  knee  in  front  of  that  little  creature  listening  to  her  say  she  was  scared  with  tears  in  his  eyes  ?  he  felt  his  body  tense  up  ,  as  if  contradicting  the  mantras  he  had  repeated  to  himself  all  these  past  years  :  don't  trust  them  .  don't  let  it  happen  again  .  but  he  couldn't  bring  himself  to  ignore  the  tightening  feeling  growing  in  his  chest  .  '  she  didn't  do  anything  wrong  '  he  thought  ,  and  in  that  moment  he  made  a  decision  hoping  not  to  regret  it  later  .  with  a  deep  sigh  ,  his  expression  softened  and  he  took  off  his  large  green  haori  and  placed  it  over  the  little  child's  shoulders  ,  resting  one  hand  on  her  head  in  a  comforting  gesture  .  “  i'm  here  ”  he  said,  “  don't  be  afraid  .  i'll  take  you  to  somewhere  safe  .  what's  your  name  ?  "

a  thump.  a  soft,  rhythmic  sound  against  the  wooden  wall  of  the  dojo,  just  outside  the  open  door  where  she  was  working.  thump.. pause.  thump.

it  was  hypnotic.  and  deeply  annoying.  he  didn’t  have  to  announce  his  presence.  the  obnoxious,  overwhelming  brightness  of  his  energy  had  preceded  him  by  a  full  five  minutes.  this  was  just  him  being…  him.  bored.  and  wanting  attention.  the  thumping  stopped.

after  a  moment,  gojo  leaned  into  the  doorway,  propping  his  shoulder  against  the  frame.  his  blindfold  was  off,  dangling  from  one  hand.  his  other  hand  was  shoved  in  his  pocket.  he  wasn't  smiling  his  usual  infuriating  grin.  he  just  looked…  tired.  his  gaze  was  on  the  little  red  ball  sitting  in  the  middle  of  her  floor.

“he’s  a  bad  influence  on  me.”  he  said,  his  voice  quiet.  no  teasing  edge  to  it.  just  a  flat  statement.  he  finally  looked  up  from  the  ball,  his  blue  eyes  meeting  hers.  “panda.”  he  clarified,  a  little  needlessly.  “he  said  i  should  find  a  hobby.  something  that  doesn’t  involve  breaking  things  or  annoying  people.”  a  ghost  of  a  tired  smile  touched  his  lips.  “so  far,  it’s  not  working.”

Starter for @mooonveiled (Kanae)

Hinatsuru was coming to visit the Butterfly Mansion as she was hoping to speak with Kanae about a mission she was being assigned to go undercover. A temple known as the "Eternal Paradise Faith" was growing in popularity, but someone expressed concern to the Demon Slayer Corp about a family member going missing. Tengen had been interested, so he spoke with more family members to find out that the husband was complaining that his wife had been seduced by a demon. Kagaya had given Tengen and his wives to investigating, but they figured it would be best to only send two people.

It appeared most of the followers were women, so Hinatsuru volunteered and had an idea to see if Kanae would be willing to accompany her. Having a hasira by her side would make Tengen feel more comfortable with the idea as well. Noticing the flower hasira, she smiled as she called out softly, "Good morning, Kanae-chan, I hope you have been well. I was wondering do you have a minute to speak with me?"
