tragically yes on the british part, and for that i can never be forgiven

neuroscience phd was indeed the plan for a while before i realized in the midst of applying to programmes that i hate the idea of working in academia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so i’ve gone back to preparing to apply to physician associate/physician assistant schools instead
