The Elmwood Public Library is a time-travelling, dimension-spanning library that acts as a multiversal third-space. There's books that anyone can read in any language and literacy level (Urt tech), meeting rooms, and a set of 3 comfy couches near a fireplace.
I've got plans to have the characters be related to some of the main cast VERY directly, and also a self-insert library janitor character because what else is fanfic for if not to be self-indulgent.
I think it's time we should stop calling it Artificial Intelligence and call it what it actually, literally, technologically is.
Large Language Models or Machine Learning Algorithms.
They are not Intelligent, they are only Artificial. Artificially added to every single website, app, and PHONE LINE we use. We did not ask for this, only the out of touch owners of tech companies want LLMs in everything. They want us to just accept that it's normal to use a system that frequently provides misinformation, amalgamations of stolen art and videos, and TELLS CHILDREN TO KILL THEMSELVES.
Intrusive LLMs are a blight on the face of the internet, and by extension, the world.
